We serve authentic Czech cuisine and the finest Czech beer from TAPs made by the Czech company LUKR. A variety of Czech beers, including Pilsner Urquell and Kozel Dark. We will also gradually offer craft beers from our friends, such as KOBO BREWERY and EBINA BEER, brewed by Czechs in Japan. The interior is divided into a standing drinking area and a restaurant area; in the standing area, you can enjoy an atmosphere just like the Czech Republic in front of the beer dispenser. The Czech dishes are adapted into small portions for light eating. There is also a wide selection of snacks. On the restaurant side, sit down and enjoy a full meal. Authentic Czech cuisine learned from a Czech-born chef…

We visited Pilný Piják Tokyo the day before flying back home to the Czech Republic. By coincidence, the restaurant was only about a six-minute walk from our hotel, so it was a perfect choice. It is a smaller place, yet it was completely packed, mostly with Japanese guests, which made the atmosphere even more special. We had proper Czech beer and, as true Czechs, one of the most traditional Czech comfort foods — fried cheese. They had Pilsner Urquell and Kozel on tap, Czech flags around the restaurant, Czech books, and even a video from Prague playing on the TV. For a moment, it felt like a little piece of home in the middle of Tokyo. Great atmosphere, friendly place, good beer, and a very nice Czech experience abroad. A perfect preparation for our trip back home. Highly recommended.

It's absolutely fantastic to find something from one's home country on the other side of the world. Piliny Pijak is a brilliant fusion of Czech and Japanese cuisine; they don't attempt to cook boring Czech dishes, giving them a Japanese twist instead, be it through their choice of mushrooms for fried mushrooms or by using more interesting spices and flavourings. I personally liked that much better. Smazeny syr was great, and the sweet dumplings were a great surprise. Great choice of vegetarian and fish dishes (better than most Czech pubs), great beer, and even cocktails. I'm not sure if we went on a particularly busy night, but I recommend booking in advance.

What a fun restaurant! We wandered by and were intrigued by the idea of a Czech restaurant in Tokyo, so we decided to do dinner. So happy we did! Wonderful, friendly service and absolutely fantastic food. The miso-dill salmon was a perfect plate. Every single thing we tried was incredible. Do not miss this if you like trying delicious, unique food.

It was amazing experience, I am from the Czech Republic and visited this restaurant with my Czech friends and we were amazed. The atmosphere was like from a czech fairy tail and food was all delicious like from our grandmothers, especially the Svíčková. I highly recommend this restaurant

This is hands-down one of the best Czech restaurants I’ve been to—even compared to places I visited while living in the Czech Republic. The food here is genuinely delicious, and a Czech friend of mine even said some dishes are better than what you’d get at a local hospoda back home. You can enjoy both Pilsner Urquell and Kozel on tap. In fact, this is the ONLY restaurant in Tokyo that always has Kozel on draft, which is a rare treat. The chef here has trained directly under Czech chefs, and it really shows in the authenticity and depth of flavor in every dish. My personal recommendations are the svíčková and tatarák—both are outstanding. Just a heads-up: there’s only one chef in the kitchen, so if the restaurant is full, food may take some time. In that case, I suggest ordering some appetizers or fried dishes first, as they tend to come out quicker. There’s an English menu available, which is very helpful. The restaurant has 24 table seats and a standing area. If you sit at a table, there’s a small 200-yen table charge, but it includes a tasty seasonal appetizer. Also, during long holiday periods, their schedule can be irregular, so it’s best to check their Instagram for updates. Overall, I highly recommend this place—truly a hidden gem in Tokyo for Czech cuisine lovers.
