Excellent Italian food in Akasaka-Mitsuke. It is somewhat rare to find Spaghetti alla Puttanesca on an Italian menu in Japan but there is was. It has made the way that you'd expect, with anchovies capers and olives. There was also Tuna in it which I attribute to, as the of the restaurant Palermo suggests, the southern Italian theme of the restaurant and therefore Mediterranean influence. We also ordered the Caprese which was also excellent and I had a prosecco and my dining partner had the Sangria. This came to a little over 4,000 yen which would be something like 30 US dollars. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you want to taste some real Italian food. There is a British pub down the street too.

We visited the restaurant twice. The first time everything was delicious, especially the seafood pasta and the pizza. During our second visit, we ordered a different pizza with ham and mushrooms. We were surprised that the ham was well cooked while the mushrooms were raw - it seemed like it should have been the other way around. We then ordered a seafood pizza, which was very good. The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere and interior were pleasant 😊

Came here around 4:40 PM and were happy to wait outside until they opened at 5. Instead, we were told to leave and find another restaurant because they were “fully booked until closing.” Passed by again at 5:30 PM… only a few customers inside. 😂 Fully booked? Maybe. Welcoming? Definitely not. 👎

Stumbled across this hidden gem and got lucky and were the first ones to line up without a reservation. We ordered the Romano Pizza & Fettuccine Gorgonzola pasta to share and finished it off with tiramisu. The food, service & atmosphere were all 10/10. Would recommend and definitely will be back. Thank you again 、thank you very much!
