A bit bummed out in the lack of options (even though they’re all selling the same thing…) as there was maybe 5 booths at most selling Takoyaki. Little bit of a journey to find also I tried out the stall that has earned michelin stars in the past and somewhat enjoyed what I got though personally to come out of your way here just try to takoyaki doesnt make much sense so ensure you enjoy the rest of Odaiba rather than dedicating your time to only come here. Also, beware of the lack of seating as the place gets jammed up with mostly locals hanging out in there. Especially if your with a family it will be annoying to find a table. Went outside to the balcony and got a bench seat as I was solo so it worked out fine for me.
View on GoogleWent here with a friend for lunch on a weekday. The place was not crowded and it looks really nice. Loved the lanterns around. There were several food stalls inside. The store we visited had a machine for orders and payment. You then give the ticket to the staff. We ordered the Takoyaki set with Butter, Mentaiko and Cheese Flavor with Green Onion on the side in one of the stalls. The Takoyaki was a bit soft but still enjoyed it with the several flavors especially the Mentaiko one. We also tried the Matcha Beer which I loved. Would definitely go back. A great place to relax and enjoy a meal especially if you are craving for some Takoyaki. Great for sharing too.
View on GoogleThis is not really a museum but a food corner that is dedicated to various types of takoyaki. There are different set u can order in which four different types of takoyaki will be included (4 for each flavor). I ordered a half½ both Mentaiko cheese and spicy mayo are okay. Nothing special though.
View on GoogleFun area of different takoyaki stalls. All have digital kiosks for ordering. During the 15th anniversary you can try a special set to try all the booths, but it isn't advertised well. Ticket for this is sold at the shop closet to the entrance. Most of the digital kiosks have good translations and are easy to order from.
View on GoogleRather than a museum, it's a food court with a handful of takoyaki restaurants. A couple of them have a specialty or exclusive flavors, but each place kinda just tasted the same. The lowest amount of takoyaki you can buy at each is six, so it's pretty disappointing that it's hard to go to the Takoyaki Museum and try all that they have, especially for a solo traveller.
