A restaurant with a calm atmosphere where you can leisurely enjoy Japanese food and drinks. The sobawari was fragrant, and the red tomato salt sour was refreshing and delicious too. The snack-type dishes like the tuna takuan rolls, atsuage, and grilled shiitake were also carefully made, so the drinks kept flowing. Everything was delicious right up to the soba at the end; I recommend it for days when you want a quiet drink.

Visited a lovely kappo where you can savor nodoguro, a luxury ingredient. Went with a coworker~ Since we both love fish, we ordered the 'Yayoi' course, where you can fully enjoy nodoguro! ⁡ Besides nodoguro, they have a wide variety of sake, so drink lovers will enjoy it too! We had sakes called 海風土 (Seafood) from Hiroshima and Ugo no Tsuki~ Seafood in particular tasted like white wine and became a favorite♡ ⁡ ・Three selected 'sakizuke' Ebi shinjo, shirako with olive oil and salt combined with tosazu, and mozuku in vinegar, a very Japanese lineup! Seasonal ingredients are used, which is heartwarming. They go perfectly with sake! The melting shirako especially was the best~ ⁡ ・Soba shop specialty: grilled miso Grilling the Saikyo miso makes it so much richer✨ The crunchy walnuts are irresistible! ⁡ ・Assorted otsukuri Bluefin tuna and hirame sashimi. The bluefin tuna came as akami and toro; the akami has a strong tuna flavor. The toro's fat is sweet and delicious too. When you eat the hirame with salt, its sweetness stands out and it's delicious. ⁡ ・Seasonal 'wan' A soup with a big hamaguri clam! A lovely flavor that makes you feel relieved and gentle. The dashi soaks into your body~ ⁡ ・Salt-grilled nodoguro (half fish) I love eating nodoguro simply salt-grilled♡ With the saltiness, the sweetness of the nodoguro comes through slowly. The way it flakes apart in your mouth is irresistible✨ ⁡ ・Nitsuke nodoguro (half fish) Getting to eat it not just salt-grilled but also as nitsuke is way too luxurious. In contrast to the salt-grilled one, the slightly sweet sauce is way too good. The fat is sweet too~~ ⁡ ・Seasonal specialty For the seasonal specialty we had aigamo! Duck is a healthy and highly nutritious ingredient, so I was happy! It came with grilled negi too, crisp and adding a textural accent♡ Eating it with wasabi changes the vibe too, which is nice☺️ ⁡ ・Juwari soba of your choice Being able to choose is the distinctive part!! The most popular is tororo tsuyu, so I chose that! My coworker chose tsukimi tsuyu! I'm also happy you can choose the soba portion size♡ It's cold zaru soba with a slurpy, chewy texture, nice and refreshing to eat✨ ⁡ ・Mizugashi The course ends with melon and strawberries. ⁡ The atmosphere is calm and it's a private room, so you can enjoy your meal at a relaxed pace. The staff's service was polite and wonderful too.

Access: 5-minute walk from Akasaka Station Closed: Sat, Sun, national holidays ◯Good points ・Seats are fully private rooms like a tea room ・A hidden-gem shop located underground ・Course meals only, so it feels special ・You can enjoy top-grade salt-grilled nodoguro in Tokyo ▪️Dishes ordered 【Sakizuke】Today's three sakizuke 【Otsukuri】Assorted otsukuri 【Grilled】Salt-grilled nodoguro 【Sakana】Hashiyasume 【Fried】Tempura of seasonal ingredients 【Soba】Juwari seiro soba 【Sweets】Mizugashi A hidden kappo restaurant underground near Akasaka Station The interior is a fully private room like a tea room out of a movie. You can enjoy a Japanese course meal in a calm, spacious space. There's a wide variety of drinks, and my impression was that the sake selection is large too. The course starts and the dishes are brought out. Among them, the salt-grilled nodoguro and seasonal tempura were the best The salt-grilled nodoguro has well-salted, crispy skin, while the flesh inside is soft, flaky, and easy to eat It's also superb eaten with refreshing grated daikon. The seasonal tempura was eggplant, kabocha, and shrimp. All of them crispy; I kept drinking while listening to that nice crunch. Eating them with rock salt is good too. From my impression there are only four? private rooms, so I felt it's recommended for business dinners or dates when you want to eat quietly. Everything was delicious, thank you for the meal.

First, of course, the food. What happiness to be able to eat nodoguro both as nitsuke and salt-grilled. What also surprised me was the quality of the fish in the otsukuri. The tuna had beautiful marbling. No fishy smell, outstanding freshness, wonderful. The bright, clean atmosphere is lovely too. Since it's fully private rooms, I think it's easy to use for business dinners or discreet dates. Finally, the wide range of sake is wonderful! They have 3 types of Aramasa, the luxury sake that's now super famous, plus many other renowned sakes. It's great that they have tasting sets so you can enjoy a little of various brands. The service was polite too, and I had a very enjoyable time. Thank you for the meal!

A kappo restaurant in Akasaka specializing in nodoguro. A place with a grown-up hideaway feel that suits its Akasaka location. Since it's private rooms, your privacy is protected and you can enjoy your meal at a relaxed pace. The staff serving you wear kimono, which adds to the lovely atmosphere♪ This time we had the Hana course with all-you-can-drink. ▪︎Sakizuke 3 items: lightly pickled edamame, ika no shiokara, and potato salad. I thought lightly pickled edamame was unusual, and it turned out to have a nice kick of sansho and was very delicious! It makes the drinks go down easily. ▪︎Otsukuri An assortment of 2 kinds: kanpachi and bluefin tuna. Fresh, melting away the moment it goes in your mouth. ▪︎Salt-grilled nodoguro The main: salt-grilled nodoguro. A whole fish comes out, so luxurious!! The fatty flesh flakes apart as soon as you put your chopsticks in. Juicy and packed with umami, and the saltiness is just right. ▪︎Hashiyasume Yamaimo pickled in wasabi. Refreshes your palate to welcome the main dish. ▪︎Tempura of seasonal ingredients The tempura was 3 kinds: shrimp, eggplant, and maitake. The thin batter is fried crisp, yet the inside is juicy. It's best eaten with the soba. ▪︎Juwari seiro soba Juwari seiro soba from Gunma Prefecture. Soba as the finale is refreshing, which I love. To finish, a cozy sip of sobayu. ▪︎Mizugashi Finished with warm tea and cold melon. A nodoguro kappo in Akasaka might feel intimidating, but courses start from 6,600 yen. What left an impression was the staff serving us politely with lovely smiles from start to finish. Since it's private rooms, it's recommended for business dinners, dates, and meals on special days.
