Located right in front of Tokyo Tower, on basement level 3 of the building. A restaurant where you can enjoy lunch at affordable prices. There is a wide selection of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes. There are plenty of daily lunch specials too. Many customers come alone, so you can feel comfortable dining by yourself. Food is served quickly, so there's no waiting. Credit cards are accepted too, which is convenient.

In a way, it's a hidden gem. It's not somewhere people who don't know it would just wander into. But since it's New Tokyo, it's not bad at all. The beer in particular is good, as you'd expect from a Sapporo-affiliated place. A handy spot to keep in mind when you're in the area for work.

This is an employee cafeteria, but anyone can come in. Right in front of Tokyo Tower, amid expensive places taking money from tourists, this place serves ordinary, reliable food quickly. The food is simply good, and a place like this is valuable. There isn't even a sign or anything, and it's underground, so finding it must be quite a struggle. Still, even at lunchtime on weekdays, there's hardly any queue and turnover is fast, so you aren't kept waiting and there's no stress. I think it's a convenient place if you work around here.

One of the several? eateries on basement level 3? of Kikai Shinko Kaikan. The largest one. I visit this building about once a month. I've tried some of the stylish places across the street at Tokyo Tower for lunch, but lately this has become my favorite. Choose your meal from the display outside, then order as you sit down after being shown to your seat. You take the card they give you then and pay at the register on your way out. You choose from about 6 options, such as set meals and curry, and the menu is different every time I visit once a month. Cold barley tea? and warm hojicha? are self-service and unlimited. Many people dine alone, and it's completely fine for a woman on her own too. When I ordered curry udon the other day, they even provided a large, rather stylish paper apron, which I gratefully used. Since the dining area is spacious, there's no feeling that you have to leave quickly if there's no queue, so you can relax. Credit cards and other payment methods were accepted.

After being shown to my seat, I found there was no menu. Apparently, I should have chosen from the food samples at the entrance first. It's a restaurant in the basement of Kikai Shinko Kaikan, but it operates more like an employee cafeteria. I had tanmen. The taste was neither good nor bad. I'd say it's employee-cafeteria level, but the prices are the same as restaurants outside.
