So nice place, cheap food and the staff were amazing, teaching us a lot about Japan and their food. Extra thanks to Masanaga. Great for touists but still feels genuine.

The enthusiasm from the staff was exceptional! Very energetic. Made me, my wife and our 8 month old feel welcomed. Food was also very good and seating was spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Simple food that fills the stomach. Obviously mainly dumpling based dishes, but also some (raw) horse meat choices. Set meals are reasonable value. Portions are decent sized. Not the cheapest but also not unreasonable. Staff friendly and quick. A little noisy when busy. Open fairly late so good for a quick bite at night. Music a little loud.

Love this little place so much we came twice! Very low cost compared to other options in the area and so so good. We tried the pork, the chicken and both the regular and mini fried dumplings - all lovely. Service is efficient and there is an English menu. The only thing I'd avoid is the horse sashimi, but hey if you're adventurous go for it.

Best gyoza ever!!!Especially the chicken wing filled with meat. Unbelievable juicy and flavorful. Really a authentic izakaya experience among salary mens.
