Excellent sushi restaurant. They offered fresh sushi and sashimi which really good. Good quality of fish and other seafood are superb. English menu and conversation are good. Small restaurant which have only 6 seats on first floor at the counter but they have 20 seats more upstairs. Reservation is recommended. You can do reservation from the link in google map, very convenient. Cash and Credit card accepted. Enjoy !

Decent sushi spot hidden in an alley just east of the Shinagawa station. Sushi counter on main, one 4-person table on 1st and more tables on top. Intimate. 2 servers run up and down the stairs providing brisk and friendly service. Plenty of Japanese wine to choose from. English menu.

Fantastic sushi a few steps from Shinagawa Station, East Exit. Very friendly and skilled chef creating sushi downstairs (only 6 seats by the counter), and two more stories with ca. 20 seats each. Worth booking in advance (easy).

Exceptional Omakase dining experience with chef Kure. Very accomodating to English speaking guest. Sushi were fresh and well prepared. Would come back again. Well done.

An utter disappointment of a dinner. As a seasoned visitor to Japan and having lived here for a few years, I was looking forward to having a decent, authentic Japanese omakase, but ended up with rubbery pieces of fish and zero customer service. Sushi chef manning the place gave off aloof vibes. Did not even explain what was served to us. He even wiped his sweat and proceeded to use the contaminated hand to fold the rice for the sushi, so hygiene is questionable. The sushi itself was also disappointing; rubbery and felt like it was left in the open for hours. Only the grilled silver cod gindara was decent, but my partner had more than a handful of bones in hers. During the sushi service, we were served all the sushi on a plate while the rest of the diners were served each sushi freshly one by one with explanations. Not sure why ours was different when we ordered the same set but considering this was meant to be an intimate omakase experience, what we had was definitely not worth paying this much for. Service was rushed, not a single word uttered upon us being seated. Felt like we were not welcomed at all. Not sure if it was because of the language barrier given the fact that we understood and even ordered in Japanese. That being said, the other service staff on level 2 was much friendlier and welcoming. Not sure why this place gets such a high rating, the Kura sushi place near the Shinagawa station is way cheaper and serves better sushi and food.
