Very good food, nice waiter!

I visited on the night I stayed at Hotel The Celestine Tokyo Shiba. Both the drinks and food were very reasonably priced considering the location, and the atmosphere and staff service were excellent. The food was also really delicious. The avocado and tuna salad was generously portioned. The sesame dressing was so delicious I could have kept eating it forever. The fried horse mackerel was incredibly tender, with a crispy coating. The squid tempura was generous and delicious too! Unexpectedly good value for money. Perhaps because of the location, they closed at ２１:３０, with last orders at ２１:００. Several Italian and Chinese restaurants line the same stretch, but they all seemed to close early.

It's a tenant inside the Celestine in Shiba Park, but the design is surprising—a traditional old house inside a hotel? It's divided into a counter area, a table area, and a sunken kotatsu area on the ２nd floor, with a lovely atmosphere. The staff are approachable, very kind, and attentive to the smallest details. Chatting with them was fun too. There seemed to be a large banquet downstairs, but the upstairs seating was quiet and relaxing. The food selection is extensive, with many creative dishes, and everything is delicious. There are plenty of sake varieties too. I had shochu this time, but next time I'd definitely like to enjoy some sake as well. A lovely restaurant that makes you want to return.

This place specializes in negi I stop by when I want to give my body a rest and dig into stewed udon loaded with negi Come to think of it, it had probably been over 1 year But I ordered as usual without really looking at the menu And, surprisingly, the negi that used to cost ＋100円 now comes in a slightly larger portion from the start With the base price raised to 1100円 Maybe there were lots of people like me? lol The flavor hadn't particularly changed Still reliably tasty as always

Weekday lunch nabe curry udon. Delicious, with a milky broth and distinctive udon.
