Pizza 🍕 at Napoli’s Pizza & Cafe Akasaka Hitotsugi left me wishing I had gone somewhere else. There is some potential here. The dough is actually quite good. Nice texture and structure, which tells me they know what they’re doing at a basic level. But that’s where it stops. The cheese lacks flavor and the sauce is surprisingly bland, which is a problem when those are the two core components of any pizza. It just doesn’t come together. Service didn’t help the experience either. It felt inattentive and lacking energy. This place currently sits at a 4.1 rating, but based on this visit, that feels generous. Without more care, consistency, and a real focus on quality and customer experience, it’s hard to see it sustaining long term. There’s a foundation here. It just needs passion behind it. Too many 4.8’s around to choose and compromise.

Are you looking for good service, wonderful food and relaxing vibe? Then come to this pizza spot. After having terrible service elsewhere in Japan this place is a breath of fresh air. The beer is cold and pizza is amazing.

I have been to Tokyo multiple times and I always make sure to grab a pizza from this spot. Great Neapolitan style pizza. Super friendly staff and excellent service. Pizza’s are personal sized and very reasonably priced. Amazing spot to grab some pizza and drinks. Don’t pass up a visit here if you have a chance!

I’m not sure why this place has such low ratings. It’s a great place with freshly baked pizza in a stone oven. The margherita is a classic and is really tasty; it has no meat which was favorable to me as a vegetarian. The environment is quaint and the pizza is a perfect portion and the price is fair. Came here twice during trip in Tokyo

Really good pizza!! The portions are smaller than what I’m used to in the states but very delicious. We ordered one margarita pizza to share and it was so good we ordered the diavolo before we finished
