Very friendly atmosphere and tasty food! It was packed with locals and they had an English menu for us. The noodles were well worth the wait. We enjoyed watching the trains go by while our food was being prepared.

On the 2nd floor of a building a little way along the west side of the tracks from 浜松町 Station toward 新橋. I went in because the easel in front of the stairs caught my eye. A lunch set of seiro and a small kakiage rice bowl. 1200円. I think the portion of seiro soba is small. The kakiage rice bowl is small too. The dipping sauce is sharp and on the salty side. The flavor itself is good, I think, but the small portions lose it points. It would be fine as something to accompany drinks at a soba restaurant, but I wish they would give the lunch portions a little more thought.

I visited for lunch and ordered the lunchtime-only assorted tempura seiro. A large kakiage is elegantly accompanied by vegetables. The soba is thin and easy to eat, and I enjoyed it along with the tempura. The portion felt a little insufficient, but it might be just right for people wanting a light lunch, or for women.
