So many whale skeletons that they had to put some in a separate building. Free museum. Not huge, but several different displays including training ships, arctic wildlife, various marine animals, aquaculture, and the many whale skeletons.
View on GoogleComplete with marine life displays, fishing equipment, and processed seafood products. The building isn't very large, so it doesn't take long to visit. There's a massive whale skeleton displayed in front of the building.
View on GoogleExtremely quiet place to walk around and see the different kinds of sea creatures and ships. Has a seperate section for the whale bones, and the main building has 2 levels. Spent around 30 minutes just walking around (and text is in Japanese). Entry is free
View on GoogleThis is my second time here. Entering the museum is like stepping into a living storybook of the ocean. Every exhibit was meticulously curated, blending scientific depth with visual elegance.
View on Googlequite a good place to checkout when u have extra time, although all information are in japanese, just take a look is good thou
