A Yamagata soba shop. Their standard niku soba is frequently ordered at lunch, and the tori tsuke soba is delicious too. The dashi may be a little strongly flavored. The amount of meat is surprisingly small, though; it matches the price, so it cannot be helped. You buy a meal ticket first from a modern ticket machine. When it is crowded, you wait further in the waiting room at the back, but as a soba shop, turnover is fast, and the wait does not feel very long. The fried soba snack served as an appetizer is salty and delicious. It seems to become like an izakaya at night. The recommended menu lineup is starting to resemble a Western-style restaurant's.

I came for lunch. The niku soba was satisfying.

It was quite good as a 港屋-inspired place. The interior is fairly spacious too. However, it was very disappointing that extra meat was not available. Correction: The ticket machine did not sell extra-meat tickets, but you could get extra meat by handing over 200円 in cash.

The regular portions are large, so its value for money overwhelms the surrounding restaurants. The gyu tsuke chukamen is delicious. There are plenty of choices for both soba and Chinese noodles, so I do not get bored even going 2.3 times a week.
