MAISON CLASSIC CAFE
《A shop for handmade gelato and roasted brown rice sandwiches in Takanawa Gateway》 ■Our gelato is carefully handmade in our in-store workshop. We recommend the special gelato loaded with toppings. ■Our sandwiches are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We use flavorful house-made bread made from a blend of roasted brown rice flour and flour made specifically for French bread. ■We also offer a morning set of coffee and a half sandwich, perfect before work. ■Inside the shop, we have bench seating with mini tables. Please feel free to drop by.

The staff don't greet customers with "Welcome." It's a place where no one feels welcome. The staff at this store close the shop whenever they want to go home, so be aware of that if you're planning to go.
View on GoogleSince I commute via Takanawa Gateway Station every morning, I occasionally stop by at 7, right after opening. The morning set of bread (half) and a drink costs a little under 800 yen, so I can't go that often. You can choose between BLT and egg sandwich. The sandwiches on hard bread are very delicious. I feel like the set used to come with a whole sandwich rather than a half, and the drink was a larger size too, but I guess they're doing various trial and error. The eat-in space is simple but easy to use, so you can casually go on your own. The other day, unusually, I stopped by in the evening too and bought the ice cream I don't normally eat. It was delicious.
View on GoogleI stopped by since it was inside Takanawa Gateway Station. I ordered the BLT, and it was served in about 3 minutes. I was really impressed by how speedy the service was. Everything I ordered was delicious. The staff were all smiles and very warm, making it an environment where I could eat with peace of mind. The BLT was very delicious. There are chairs and simple tables in the shop. It's right near the south ticket gate of Takanawa Gateway Station, so access is good too. Please give it a try, everyone.
View on GoogleI was riding the Yamanote Line, hopped off at Gateway Takanawa Station on a whim, went out through the ticket gate once and headed to NEWOMAN Takanawa south, but since it was before 11am during GW and it looked like it was getting crowded, I came to this café I'd been curious about before going out the gate. I guess everyone who comes to Gateway Takanawa goes to NEWOMAN. It wasn't crowded at all, which was great♪ After the BLT half set, I wanted something sweet, so I ordered the matcha gelato and a second coffee and could take my time. The wooden bench seats and small table were just right for me on my own, and I ended up staying a long time. The two female staff members seemed to be having fun, the music playing was pleasant, and I had a lovely time. Thank you very much.
View on GoogleThis is a café? inside the ticket gates of Takanawa Gateway Station. Gelato is the main thing, but they had sandwiches too, so I stopped by. By the way, it's closer to the south ticket gate. "BLT Sandwich" 785 yen The ham and egg was sold out, so I debated between this and the hot dog and went with this. They put the semi-hard bread in the toaster, but personally I think it wasn't heated enough. They start filling it after that, so it gets even colder…. The fillings were bacon, lettuce, and tomato, nicely balanced. It was casual to eat and delicious. They accepted Rakuten Pay and others.
