Beautiful! Freshly baked scones, clotted cream, jam, and wonderful tea... our last stop before taking the Asakusa train back to Narita. Fantastic.

They also hold cooking and cake-making classes. Lunch is 海南チキンライス with Perrier for atmosphere and cheesecake, for 1200円. The cheesecake was very delicious.

The ガパオライス here is mildly spicy, perfect for lunch this April when it's neither hot nor cold. If you have dessert cake too, you'll be quite full. The ラッフルズホテル coaster was also understated and nice.

This cafe is near the edge of 高輪's shopping street. I can't resist tucked-away cafes in quiet locations away from busy entertainment districts, so I'd been curious and stopped by during my lunch break at work. It's described as [a fun place combining cooking classes from around the world with a cafe]. Apparently they hold cooking classes as well as operating the cafe. Inside, almost the entire right half is a kitchen. The left half is the cafe space, with one large table for about 8 people and roughly 2 counter seats along the wall. Outside there are also two terrace tables for two. Opera-like music plays faintly in the background, and the staff just make sweets and such in the kitchen, so the place is almost enveloped in silence. Occasionally you hear staff chatting. Lunch costs 1500円 or 1200円, a little expensive for lunch. I usually have a 500円 bento, so that's two and a half days' worth. Since I'd come all this way and my bonus arrives tomorrow, I splurged on the 1200円 「海南チキンライスset」. It came with boiled chicken, a sweet-spicy sauce, Thai rice cooked in the chicken's cooking broth and pressed together like an onigiri, tomato and cucumber, a small soup, and cheesecake and coffee for dessert. The chicken is delicious even without sauce. The Thai rice is also somewhat seasoned. I ate half without sauce and half with it. The sauce's sweet-spicy taste fooled me, but it was surprisingly spiced and left my tongue slightly numb. That spoiled the flavors of the dessert cheesecake and coffee. I recommend using minimal sauce. The lunch is small overall, with modest portions. The target seems to be ladies watching their figures. The soup is barely larger than a sake cup, and the cheesecake is about half the usual size. It's a little insufficient for an adult man. The coffee was delicious and to my taste, without the acidity fashionable these days and with just the right bitterness. As a cafe space, it feels like there's no particularly comfortable place to sit. The 8-person table is too large, while the counter faces a wall, leaving no view and feeling uncomfortable. They also don't seem attentive to climate control; I felt slightly cold after taking off my coat. That hurt the comfort too. The staff's manner and movements were very elegant and wonderful. When you request something, they reply 「Certainly」. Overall, it's a stylish space, but I couldn't call it a very comfortable cafe for me. I won't go in again.

I came in for lunch, but the portions are rather small for the price. It might be good for women. I think the flavor is good. Also, since the space doubles as a cooking classroom, the seating feels unsettled.
