Vibrant international hotel buffet with cooking stations & seasonal meat, seafood & plant-based options.

A photogenic display that spreads out in a dynamic space with a ceiling height of about 9 meters and about 400 seats. From the food boards in 4 places in the store, enjoy a Japanese-Western-Chinese buffet that is friendly to both the body and the earth, such as the chef-recommended Hapuna curry, plant-based food made from plant-derived ingredients, popular roast beef, and a sweets corner where you can enjoy seasonal gelato. Hapuna at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel was one of the highlights of my stay in Tokyo. The restaurant offers a beautifully presented buffet with an impressive variety of dishes, from authentic Japanese cuisine to international favourites, making it an excellent choice for travellers from around the world. The elegant ambience, spacious layout, and comfortable seating create a relaxed dining experience, whether you're enjoying a leisurely breakfast or dining with family and friends. The staff were exceptionally courteous, attentive, and welcoming, ensuring every guest felt well looked after throughout the meal. I especially loved starting my mornings with their creamy green tea latte, delicious salmon rice balls, and comforting miso soup. Alongside these Japanese classics, there were plenty of American breakfast options, fresh pastries, fruits, salads, and hot dishes, offering something for every palate. The quality of the food, the diverse buffet selection, impeccable service, and refined atmosphere made every visit memorable. If you're staying at Shinagawa Prince Hotel—or even if you're nearby—Hapuna is well worth visiting for a premium buffet experience in Tokyo.

We have been dining here for Christmas Eve’s buffet with our twin boys. The atmosphere is really warm welcome and we sat at window side with a welcome sparkling wine 🍷 it was a wonderful family time for us talking and enjoying the food together. Overall the food are well prepared and well presented. Among the salad , various sushi, Chinese dishes, crabs, roasted beef and various desserts. The roasted beef might our favorite ones rather than crabs. be honestly, next time we will come again on regular day. thank you ごちそうさまでした。

The space inside the restaurant is amazingly huge, great food selection coming from different prefectures, fresh salads, sushi and the roast beef was on point. Don’t miss the unlimited Gelato, and other desserts! We ordered extra for the King Crabs which is worth it!

Probably the worst breakfast buffet I’ve ever been to - feels like being in a really bad school cafeteria - Plastic plates with plastic trays and cold cheap food. If you want western food, this is not the place. Eggs are so runny, don’t even taste like eggs. Forget poached eggs as that’s not an option. Minimal bread option - actually pre-made toast is all they have. To be fair there is pain au chocolat and croissants which are good. Meat (bacon is fatty and sausages are very poor quality) should be avoided. And if that doesn’t put you off - I waited in a queue of about 20 mins just to enter. This breakfast comes free with my hotel stay and even I’m contemplating eating elsewhere.

Buffet style restaurant with self-service of Western, Chinese, and Japanese Cuisine. Very nice modern decor with darker wood trim design. Alcohol costs while water, soft drinks, and juices are included free but with a limited selection of items. Staff was very friendly and they had some folks who knew English, which was very helpful. Overall, the food was good but didn't justify the price for my modest family needs. I had expected more quality based on buffets in Honolulu, Las Vegas, and other resorts. Perhaps the Italian celebration going on this month impacted the menu of items available for the three standard cuisines. I appreciated the modest serving size that allowed me to try so many different items. The desserts were not very sweet, which was great for the Asian pallet. The dishes were all very aesthetically pleasing as you would expect with Japanese dining. We won't be back just because of the cost and value for my family. It was still very busy because it was open past 7 pm and most places in the hotel closed by 7.
