Opened on March 9, 2026. A place where the esprit of Tokyo and the spirit of Paris intersect. "LA & LE" A cafe all-day dining "This is TOKYO" that combines the rare aesthetics possessed by Japanese people while carefully inheriting French traditions, by Tetsuya Yamashita, who was active as the only Japanese waiter for over 20 years at "Cafe de Flore", the symbol of Paris. From this LA & LE, we aim to recreate cafe culture and send it to the world. 62 seats in the store, 10 seats on the terrace, and a standing bar counter, it is a cafe all-day dining that welcomes you with a standard grand menu at any time. Always operating normally...

Newly opened, one street away from the main street and yet, you forget you are in Omotesando once there. Especially at the terrace. The food and service was very good! They do serve Espresso Martini which is good but nothing too special. A bit too watery for my taste, meaning they might poor too much espresso in it. To give you an idea of the price: for 2 people, 2 cocktails, 2 main plates and 2 desserts: 13,000 yen.

I was in Tokyo for four days, one of which was spent shopping in the Omotesando district. I asked a salesperson where I could get a great lunch and she suggested La & Le. I had the Croque Monsieur, which was sublime. The owner was very attentive and kind. When I first entered, I saw several baby carriages in front of the restaurant and assumed there were a lot of young mothers with their children dining. Turns out that the carriages were for dogs of which there were several. The atmosphere was so much fun with the addition of all of the furry friends.

I am from Paris, so it’s wonderful to find a place like this in Tokyo. It feels like a mix of the Saint-Germain institutions Brasserie Lipp and Café de Flore, but with a refreshed, glamorous atmosphere and giant bay windows that bring in beautiful light. The food was delicious, and the hot chocolate looked like the famous one at Café de Flore, but tasted even better. An artistic Saint-Germain spirit, embellished with a sophisticated Japanese touch. The staff was elegant and attentive. It was only the third day since the opening, so it’s understandable that the team is still getting comfortable, but in every way it already felt perfect. I heard that the person behind the place has many years of experience at Café de Flore. I’m not surprised, he has created a terrific new spot in Tokyo.
