A creative and interesting dinner course and I didnt know the foie gras sandwich was that famous. I thought it was a normal sandwich with grilled foie gras but I was so wrong! Other dishes were all quite well-balanced, and even a bit quirky. I liked the mushroom salad and sweet potato-flavored ice cream. Not a bad option for an anniversary dinner. Full at 7pm on a Wednesday night when we came in and apparently reservations were almost always booked. I saw lots of female pairs around me with gifts to each other, so apparently people come here to splurge for an occasion. Surprisingly a bit too loud for a restaurant that I’d expected a quiet and calm atmosphere, probably as tables were relatively close to each other. The entrance was on the side and not the front so that was confusing unless you’ve been here before.

A popular French restaurant in Minami-Aoyama. The chef was selected as one of the world's best young chefs by the UK's "FOUR" magazine. It earned a Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide Tokyo 2025 and is a popular spot in Minami-Aoyama requiring reservations. It offers courses where you can casually enjoy high-quality ingredients. Service and sommelier knowledge are impeccable, making it safe to entrust them with pairings. However, ordering wine by the bottle carries some risk. There isn't a rigid, standardized wine note for each dish. Even with glass pours, they can offer reasonably good wine suggestions.

I have visited this restaurant 4 times. To be honest, I was a little bit disappointed this last time. We couldn’t finish two of the dishes. The flavor was not balanced. The pork dish was too fatty that none of us could finish. the first and second dishes are their signature dish that has been in the menu for a long time. I have no complaint about them and the third one- The new avocado dish just makes no sense. Our favorite dish was the tomato dish. Other than that, there was no highlight today. I know this restaurant has been expanding to different cities and open a second restaurant in Harajuku. Maybe that’s the reason that they shift attention from this original restaurant to other places, but I don’t think I will come back again.

It was a modern French restaurant which can try fancy full course with a reasonable price (7700JPY.) The temperature control of the roast duck was fantastic! It was my first time eating pork tongue in this kind of restaurant and it was nicely cooked, but the sauce was a bit too much of a mustard. Mont Blanc was amazing! Overall, good bang for the buck I think.

Might just be unlucky. The overall taste combination was great especially the crispy sandwich and firefly squid sauce. However, the fundamentals need to be brushed up. Soggy chicken skin in a roulade, and worst of all, seriously overcooked orecchiette. With a lack of basic skills on water ratio and technique, pasta is all stuck together make it unable to coat the nice sauce made, as seen in photo. Those who knows how to cook pasta will understand what I’m talking about. The fact that this is blatant yet the chef can cook up some reason that such overcooking is normal is quite appalling. I gave this place all the chances including add ons and wine. Would not come again or recommend.
