I saw the Black Box exhibit. It's awesome. There's a lot of talent at this place. It's also very well run. I'll definitely be returning!

Beautiful gallery in Tokyo’s oasis Azabujuban area. I loved 🌸 Rachael Pease’s show very much. Showcasing Amazing talents.

I visited because a solo exhibition by an artist I like was being held. The gallery had a simple, refined atmosphere, but there was one female staff member there on her own who, in a very nervous, tense, harsh tone, kept loudly giving blunt work-related instructions to whoever was on the other end of her smartphone, which was extremely unpleasant. Some of it seemed to be about money (though I can't say for sure), and since it's such a small space, conversations I didn't want to hear reached my ears whether I liked it or not, and partway through I could no longer enjoy the works. Did she think it was fine because it was a weekday and there were few visitors? But I think that was also very disrespectful to the artist being exhibited. It was a solo exhibition centered on works brimming with a peaceful, gentle atmosphere, so it's truly such a shame.
