A cafeteria in a port-related facility. Had breakfast before a training session in the neighboring building. A set meal with two small side dishes you can choose. Bought a meal ticket for breakfast set A for 550円 and went in. A large serving of rice is also available It was a place where you could fill up properly first thing in the morning.

My first visit. This is one of the 8 cafeterias run by 東京港湾福利厚生協会. What I really like is that it feels like an employee cafeteria. I don't enjoy restaurants at lunchtime because I feel rushed, but here everyone seems to enjoy their meals freely. After 13:00, you can enjoy an even more leisurely meal haha. However, the daily specials, which seem like really good value, apparently end when they sell out, so you probably need to come early. キッチン湾 emphasizes Chinese food, but don't worry, they also have simple options like soba, udon, and curry. Today I ordered the tantanmen and mini rice bowl set for 850円. Personally, I'd say it's a yes. The spicy soup was delicious and really made me sweat. The noodles were an easy thickness to slurp and were high quality too. Even though it's called a mini bowl, there's a generous serving of rice, so feeling this full for 850円 is fantastic. Thank you.

Open only on weekdays, with a system where you buy a meal ticket and pick up your food yourself. They offer a variety of options, including 3 daily specials and limited offerings such as omotenashi gozen, so even people who come every day won't get bored. The food is basically prepared in advance, but almost everything is under 1,000円 and the portions are generous.

A set-meal restaurant on the building's 2nd floor. It feels like an extension of an employee cafeteria. You buy a meal ticket and wait in front of the kitchen. I thought the prices were a little high for that setup. Maybe that's unavoidable in the city center? I ordered soupless tantanmen; the portion was small enough to finish in no time, so I'd say the value for money is low.
