A hugely popular neighborhood yoshoku restaurant in the 神谷町 business district. Introducing キッチン・ダダ's hamburger steak & fried fish platter for 1,050円. From over 50 menu items, I chose the king of yoshoku: hamburger steak. I ordered the platter that comes with fried fish too. The lunch I was after arrived speedily, in less than about 5 minutes. A welcome pace for busy businesspeople. Shredded cabbage and spaghetti accompany the hamburger steak and fried fish sharing the plate. Since this is a yoshoku restaurant, the rice comes on a plate. Miso soup rather than Western soup feels like the very essence of Japanese neighborhood yoshoku. Here, I eat with chopsticks. The main hamburger steak is so fluffy and tender that it splits easily with chopsticks. Coating it generously with demi-glace sauce makes the rice go down quickly. Delicious. Above all, it is incredibly soft and fluffy. I understand its popularity. The fried fish already has sauce on it, so I bite right in. It seems to have steamed inside its coating and is also fluffy. There is hardly any sense of greasiness. The side of spaghetti is nice mixed with the demi-glace sauce left on the plate too. Delicious food makes me eat quickly without meaning to. ♯神谷町グルメ ♯神谷町ランチ ♯町洋食 ♯ハンバーグ ♯Hamburgsteak ♯キッチン・ダダ

2026/07/25 A Japanese-style Western restaurant with a strongly retro atmosphere. The recommended stewed hamburger steak is very delicious. The hamburger steak was meltingly tender, with a fantastic texture. 1981 was written on the wall, so they have been operating since that long ago. Payment: cash only

4 minutes' walk from 神谷町駅! I visited 【キッチン・ダダ】! Founded in 1981! A long-established yoshoku restaurant with over 40 years of history. Located along 桜田通り, a 3.4-minute walk from exit 4b of 神谷町駅, an area undergoing remarkable redevelopment! The interior is classic and relaxing, with a total of 24 table seats! The retro car illustrations and surfboards, said to be the owner's hobbies, really catch the eye! Incidentally, 「ダダ」 in the restaurant's name apparently comes from the art movement 「Dadaism」 that arose in the mid-1910s! The menu has plenty of variety, led by the signature hamburger steak in many variations, along with cabbage rolls, curry, omurice, and other dishes likely to appeal to many people! Just reading the names could leave you pondering for quite a while (haha). In the end, this time I ordered the dish I had been curious about: 『カレーグラタンハンバーグ』 ¥1,200 That was my choice. A wait of a few minutes! The meal arrived with surprising speed! There is curry sauce beneath the hamburger steak, melted cheese on top, spaghetti and cabbage on the side, and even karaage or a croquette. Rice and miso soup too, of course! As for the all-important taste, the carefully prepared hamburger steak creates a somehow nostalgic, comforting feeling! All this for ¥1,200 truly deserves respect! There were plenty of other dishes that caught my attention, so I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you for the meal!
