I bought いなり巻き and まぼろしの飴😊 The name まぼろしの飴 caught my attention, haha. It has a faint ginger flavor. It reminded me of my late grandmother. Whenever I had a fever, she would buy me a ginger drink. But to elementary-school me, it tasted too grown-up💦 Now I understand that she probably brought ginger because she was a nurse. まぼろしの飴 brought back memories of my late grandmother!! The name isn't wrong, haha☺️👍 Now that I'm older, I love ginger, and these were so delicious I ate them in no time😊 They have small trial packs at an affordable 160円! The person at the shop was very kind and gentle, which left a lovely impression☺️ It's like an item in a game, which is nice! まぼろしの飴! Especially recommended for ginger lovers. Good for the throat too. I plan to eat the いなり巻き little by little😊 But I'll probably finish it in a day. Or so I thought.

I had みそおでん, with slightly sweet miso on konnyaku, きつねうどん, and amazake. The broth was delicious. The fried tofu was a little salty and not too sweet. The udon was on the softer side. A comforting taste. The amazake still had a few rice grains in it. This was also mildly sweet and gently flavored. The people at the shop were pleasant, and the prices were fair. I'd like to stop by again when I come to pray.

I really love the landlady's personality♡ And the udon here! Together with the shop's atmosphere, it gives off such warm energy, and eating it makes me feel so gentle and kind! I always stop by. I also tried the 幻の大根飴 sold here, and it was delicious! Apparently 林家たい平 often stops by when he has work nearby too.

I've been visiting 豊川稲荷 for over 20 years, but this was my first time eating here. I ordered their specialty(?) おでんそば. It was generous and filled me up! Perhaps because of the long holiday, there were few people today and I could relax. A pleasant May breeze blew through the shop.
