Restaurant: Chinese Restaurant Keikasaro Shimbashi Menu: Various dishes ordered (a group of 12) Price: Reasonable Visited with 12 people at 18:30 on Saturday. We had no reservation, but there was no wait at all, and we were smoothly shown straight to our seats. The restaurant was pleasantly lively and comfortable, with an atmosphere where even a large group could relax and enjoy themselves. The food arrived really quickly, with dishes steadily brightening up the table and keeping the conversation flowing. The staff were efficient too, making for a pleasant time. I think it's perfect when you want to enjoy a lively meal with everyone in Shimbashi. It was easy to drop in and very satisfying, so I'd like to visit again with the whole group!
View on GoogleI ordered Tsingtao beer and a spicy stir-fried pork skirt steak set. The beer arrived right away, and the meal came in about 5 minutes, which was surprisingly fast! The seasoning had a spicy kick and was delicious. The skirt steak was an unusual meat, like corned beef. The portion was fairly generous for 900円. The soup was lukewarm. It was disappointing that smoking was allowed. I almost wish they would put a sign outside. It might be good for people who want cheap, generous portions and to smoke. There were lots of customers.
View on GoogleThe food is incredibly delicious! And cheap! Huge portions too! I went at night, and all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink was around 4000円? 4500円? I haven't eaten that much Chinese food, so I'm not sure how accurate my assessment is, but it's cheap and tasty! I think the satisfaction is among the best. The service is a little casual, but that's nice too. Every dish really is high quality, with crisp vegetables and soft, springy, juicy chicken. The chicken was almost unnaturally so. Do they add something? Well, it's incredibly tasty, so fine by me. The mapo tofu was really authentic. I ordered medium spicy, but it was pretty hot. Sansho? Sichuan pepper? That came through quite strongly too. Next time I might go mild or just not order it. The spicy-food lovers were delighted. The fluffy eggs were also great, and the gyoza and xiaolongbao were especially delicious. I seriously recommend it to anyone who wants to eat and drink cheaply and get great value!
View on Google【Time】 I visited around 13:00 on a weekday. 【Crowds】 About 30% of the seats were occupied. 【Taste】 ✔︎Chinjao rosu It arrived about 5 minutes after ordering. This chinjao rosu had a sweetish seasoning. The vegetables were crisp and delicious. There was a decent amount of both rice and chinjao rosu. The accompanying soup was gently flavored without being too strongly seasoned, and was delicious. 【Service】【Atmosphere】 There was nothing particularly concerning about the service. The restaurant was fairly spacious. There were no wet hand towels. It seemed to be cash only at lunch.
View on GoogleA generous Chinese eatery where all lunch options cost 900円 and rice or mini fried rice comes with unlimited refills. It's in the basement of a building in Nishi-Shimbashi. Drawn in by the menu board at street level, I headed down the stairs. There are many tables inside, and I was shown to a seat at an already occupied 6-person table, with the middle seats left empty. It didn't feel cramped, and I could relax comfortably. All lunch options are priced uniformly at 900円. Sets include rice or mini fried rice, soup, a small side dish, and Chinese pickles. Rice and mini fried rice have unlimited refills, a welcome service for big eaters. ──── I verbally ordered the following. ▪️Ginger pork 900円 (tax included) ・Rice, soup, small side dish, Chinese pickles ・Unlimited refills of rice and mini fried rice ※The rice set cannot be changed to mini fried rice The ginger pork uses a Chinese stock base and comes with a lettuce salad on the side. The pork is combined with onions and garlic chives, with a good balance of aroma and sweetness. There is plenty of pork, making for a substantial portion. Eating it over the rice, the seasoning isn't too strong and the oiliness is restrained, letting the Chinese savory flavors shine. It has a reddish color, but there is hardly any heat. ──── I didn't get any refills, but I was comfortably full by the time I finished. The service is what you'd expect at an ordinary Chinese eatery, with nothing especially noteworthy and no complaints. Good value for money, and suitable when you want an easy, generous lunch.
