Kita-Aoyama, Minato Ward. Founded in 1959. The nearest station is Tokyo Metro Gaienmae, and it's also close to Jingu Stadium. Since it's closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, and I work on weekdays, it was difficult for me to visit, but I managed to go on a day when I took a half-day off. This shop caters to smokers, so most customers smoke. In fact, I think many visit specifically to smoke. Smoking-permitted places are very rare around here. But it's more than just a place where you can smoke; the menu is extensive too. The signature Dainagon zenzai is a soupless zenzai packed with azuki beans. The mochi is large and very filling. It's also nice that it comes with strong matcha. After finishing the zenzai, I had an espresso, added sugar, and enjoyed a blissful moment.

Long-established shop tour, installment 2310: a longstanding coffee shop founded in 1959 Ordered Dainagon zenzai for 800円. Gently sweet without being too sweet, with a distinct azuki bean texture—so incredibly delicious!
