JAN 2026 Walked past here after lunch and decided to get a coffee and some sweets. I had the full city roast hot coffee which was pretty good, not too strong or bitter. For sweets, I went with the freshly squeezed mont blanc which was made to order and the strawberry & matcha dacquoise. The mont blanc had a good amount of chestnut puree which tasted of natural chestnut without the sugary artificial flavoring; very good. It paired well with the vanilla ice cream and the crispy and fragrant almond meringue base for some contrasting texture. As for the dacquoise, it was quite dense and heavy; flavor of the matcha cream was decent and the strawberries were mildly sweet. Not bad but I think I would have enjoyed the matcha mont blanc more. The staff who took my order was friendly.

Kano Coffee has a unique and inviting atmosphere, perfect for coffee lovers looking for something special. The coffee here is rich and smooth, with a great balance of flavors. The Uji matcha ice drink is also highly recommended—it has a very smooth taste, and the matcha cake is absolutely delicious! However, I was hoping for a more distinct taste in the coffee, especially if it’s related to Kona Coffee. Still, the quality is excellent, and the presentation is great. A nice place to relax and enjoy good drinks and desserts!

Don’t see much difference between it and Doutor, given this is supposed to be higher end. Yeah, the vibe and seating is slightly better. The latte was subpar. Salmon sandwich was decent, and the Match Mont Blanc was below average. Staff are friendly enough. Honestly I prefer Doutor to this one and it’s even cheaper.

Both breakfast sets were delicious! I thought I needed milk for my coffee because it was black but the roast flavour was delicious so I didn't need any:)

Came in for a small break and got the matcha latte, matche green tea and matcha green tea and strawberry cream cake. Matcha latte and tea were both nice. The latte had a nice condensed milk aroma and taste. The matcha tea was nice and wasnt bitter at all. The cake had the perfect sweetness and the base wasnt soggy. Cafe was nice and cozy and the bathroom facilities were clean. Great customer service.
