Very friendly owners that speak a nice amount of English. The atmosphere is very fun and light. The food OMG THE FOOD 🤤 so GOOD 200/10 recommend!!! Specifically ordered the kimchi fried rice, fried shrimp, and the ramen.
View on GoogleWe tried the gyuutan curry and kimchi fried rice. Excellent curry, maybe an apple flavor? I want to eat it again. Best kimchi fried rice ive had in Tokyo! ☆ The mugi tea has a strong flavor.

View on Google🔥KABUN NO KIMUCHA, a Korean izakaya specializing in samgyeopsal in Akasaka🌶️ With its big red sign, muscular logo character, and a mix of Hangul lettering, the storefront had a heated vibe like a slice of a Korean street-food alley. The red "AKASAKA KABUN" neon glows over the night street, and the lively kitchen visible through the glass is appealing too. KABUN NO COURSE lets you choose from 4 mains: Samgyeopsal Course 4,000 yen, Daeji Bulgogi Course 4,000 yen, Gamjatang Course 3,000 yen, and Bulgogi Course 4,500 yen, an authentic lineup that's particular about ingredients like Iwachu pork from Iwate Prefecture and wagyu brisket🥩. The 7-dish course is packed, including the signature lightly pickled kimchi, simmered beef tendon, gyeran-jjim, seafood chijimi, kimchi fried rice, and even dessert. The kimchi fried rice I ordered was as perfect as ever, a plate where fluffy, runny egg gently wraps the tangy kimchi rice. The seafood chijimi was served sizzling on an iron plate, a luxurious dish loaded with shrimp and octopus🦑. The mellow mouthfeel of the fresh makgeolli🍶 pairs perfectly with the oily dishes, so delicious you can keep going glass after glass. A place I'd highly recommend when you want to enjoy authentic Korean food as a course in Akasaka, or on a night when you want to finish with kimchi fried rice. As an authentic Korean izakaya that's particular about ingredients and cooking methods, it's polished enough to make me want to come back. 🌟Overall rating: ★4.1 / 5.0
View on GoogleI came for their popular kimchi fried rice. It's delicious, no doubt, but delicious as an omurice rather than fried rice. It's moist, strongly seasoned, and tastes good even when it's cold. The seafood chijimi and boiled beef tongue are high-level too! The grapefruit sour and 100% muscat sour were easy to drink and the kind that doesn't give you a bad hangover. The staff were really pleasant. Unluckily, the group next to us was incredibly loud, so we couldn't have a conversation at all. At an izakaya, it really depends on your luck with seating.
