「つけ蕎麦酒場 ぢゅるり 赤坂店」 is a 2-minute walk from 赤坂 Station. It’s surprising that an IT company runs it, but the restaurant is filled with the wish to “let customers eat their fill of delicious Japanese soba freshly made every day.” A small room dedicated to making soba suddenly appears on a street corner. Inside is a noodle-making machine, where their homemade soba is produced. The prospect of craftsmanship gets your heart racing! ☑️ Mini katsudon set【850円】 The visibly glossy soba is dark, with eye-catching black flecks. The fragrant aroma unique to whole-grain milling reaches your nose from the very first bite. Its pleasantly rough texture lets you fully enjoy the robust flavor of soba. The dipping sauce has a firm, unsweet taste that really brings out the soba’s savoriness. The mini katsudon combines juicy meat with an exquisitely balanced sauce that isn’t too strong, offering a different kind of satisfaction from the soba. The combination is so perfect you can’t stop eating! The biggest selling point of 「ぢゅるり」 is undoubtedly its commitment to making everything in-house. The rich aroma of its homemade soba is a luxury you can only experience here. Being able to enjoy such high-quality food at a reasonable price is also almost miraculous. I’m happy to have found a restaurant that conveys the inherent appeal of soba so well. If you crave soba in 赤坂, head straight here♪ Thank you for the meal.

They serve delicious soba at relatively low prices. The staff are kind too. Right near the 赤坂五丁目 police box. An easygoing soba restaurant you can casually drop into. It has lots of customers too. It does seem busy at lunchtime. At night it also becomes an izakaya with a wide selection of individual dishes. At lunch they use a meal-ticket system. There was an announcement that they would close permanently at the end of business on Friday, March 7, 2025.

A place to enjoy delicious soba at affordable prices. As the name 「つけ蕎麦酒屋」 suggests, they also have izakaya course menus, but I stop by when I simply want soba. I’ve tried various dishes, but eventually settled on the meat dipping soba. A mouthful of tender pork and soba with slightly sweet dipping broth fills your mouth with deliciousness. It comes with a raw egg, which you can drop into the broth to change the flavor and keep things interesting. It’s a little far from the station and often relatively quiet, so I think it’s good for a quick meal too. I also often see families dining there. Besides regular soba, they have slightly different options like meat soba, so I recommend it to anyone who wants soba but finds ordinary soba insufficient.

I couldn’t take a lunch break, so I went in for a late lunch. Something on the meal-ticket selection made me happy. You can get a jumbo portion! So I ordered jumbo mori soba. Dipping sauce alone gets boring, so I ordered tororo too. While waiting, I looked at the menu signs. It seems you can drink alcohol here, so a little drink followed by soba sounds nice. Just as I was thinking how nice tempura with sake and soba to finish would be, my food arrived. It looked generously portioned, which was good. Taste-wise, the soba was cooked firmer than I expected and wasn’t to my liking. Being able to eat your fill is good. I mixed it with tororo, and I really do like tororo. I ate quickly, diluted the dipping sauce with soba cooking water, and drank it all. Thank you for the meal. They had other dipping soba options too, which I’d like to try.

The tempura and rice are delicious. If asked whether the soba is delicious, I don’t think it’s quite that good, but it works well enough for lunch. Maybe because I was hungry, it felt very satisfying.
