I've been here several times to enjoy high-quality Japanese yakiniku, delicious meat, and a cozy atmosphere. I really like the beef tongue here; it's one of my favorites
View on GoogleWe visited Jojoen Roppongi during our family trip to Tokyo. We were a group of six and were kindly offered a private room. The yakiniku grilling experience was both fun and delicious, and the sauces and side dishes complemented the meats beautifully. The quality of the meat was outstanding and beautifully marbled. It’s definitely on the higher end in terms of price, but well worth it for the quality and overall experience.
View on GoogleNot sure why many people call this Japanese cuisine when it is clearly Korean style grill. The food is decent but for the same price tag there are clearly other options available. Charging 10% service fee when not ordering course is also rather odd for Japanese restaurants.
View on GoogleThe most of meat came with sauce already, but the taste were good in general. The mix tongue plate was an absolute delight! However, the salads was basic and just some iceberg overly reliant on sauce, making it too salty. The cold noodles were also quite underwhelming. However, the meal ended on a nice gesture with the tea and ice cream. Overall the atmosphere here is pretty nice, making it a pleasant place for dinner.
View on GoogleIt’s one of those places that I thought is would be mediocre because it’s a franchise. Oh how I was wrong. The meat here is as good as those in the really high end Yakiniku restaurant. I definitely recommend the combo plates. The tongue and kalbi combo is definitely a must! (Especially the tongue, they don’t really expect that cut). For those who’s a little more adventurous, try the Huromon/intestine. Taste good when it cook right.
