赤身肉 じゃんか 赤坂Janka
High-quality meat including wagyu (和牛) and Miyazaki beef (宮﨑和牛) at reasonable prices. Light, refreshing meat centered on lean red cuts, plus bold chunks of meat. Great for meals or entertaining clients. The culture of eating yakiniku with real fresh wasabi originated at our restaurant! It began from the wish that you savor high-quality meat simply, precisely because of its quality. What we're most particular about is how the meat is cut. Every piece of meat is different. So that we can serve it in the best condition based on what we see and feel, we cut it after receiving your order. If you prefer thick or thin cuts, feel free to let us know! Wagyu, Miyazaki beef, beef tongue, and more in Akasaka…

It’s for the beef lovers. It’s an authentic Japanese BBQ place serving high quality beef. We especially loved the chunk of Harami beef (diaphragm). It will be cooked in front of you by the store person. the It’s not only photogenic but tasty. It’s a small store. Recommend to come with a small group of people.
View on GoogleFound this place on Google and had the hotel concierge called to make reservation for me for 7:30pm. The concierge tried to send me to another establishment but I’m glad I had insisted on checking this place out. I chose it as it has charcoal grill and is located close to the hotel. I found it easily with the help of direction from the concierge and apple map. The food served is very tasty. I ordered the set of 5 types of beef to start with, so that I know the type of meat I want to order more of afterwards. And the rice in hot spicy beef soup makes the meal experience very satisfying and helps to cut the grease from the grease/marbling of the beef. They have a server who speaks English and also have English menu. Will attached the pics here for reference. There is a “cover charge” which they provide patrons with an appetizer which I found out later from my Japanese colleague is the norm & practice in big city like Tokyo. The appetizer is a small bucket of greens & veggies with a Korean-style dip. All in all, I would definitely re-visit and would order several orders of the type of meat that I like, now that I know my meat preference. It is a perfect meal except for the appetizer which I don’t really care for since I don’t like raw greens. The crowd in the restaurant is a younger demographic of white collar locals. The restaurant is packed the entire time I was there so reservation is recommended in my opinion.
View on GoogleThis is a cute little yakiniku place in Akasaka just a little off the main drag of Roppongi avenue. A colleague had recommended it (it’s also close to my house), so I decided to give it a try. The menu has your typical yakiniku fare for the most part, although don’t expect more Korean style bulgogi and calbi. Rather, the menu is a simple list of premium cuts of meat and side dishes. We ordered the chef’s recommendation of 5 cuts of “red” meat (no innards or tongue), as well as a la carte selections of the pork set (normally it’s Korean style pork belly, but they were out of it so it was a tasty pork job instead), “10 second” premium thin slice beef, “wasabi” calbi, and a rump cut. In addition we had some kimchi side dishes and delicious Korean seaweed with sesame oil. Our server was super attentive and friendly, and took time to answer all of our questions. The restaurant is small, and while I don’t think a reservation is absolutely required, you probably want to consider it just in case as the place can fill up quickly. Prices are very reasonable, although portions are not huge, and the kimchi is not all you can eat, so if you are someone who likes to eat a lot kimchi, be aware that it is a per order charge and they are small orders. I definitely recommend this place especially if you’re in the Akasaka/Tameike Sanno area, and are craving yakiniku in a quaint package. Also, I really enjoyed the charcoal grills that are placed at each table to grill the meat – the perfect temperature for grilling your beat to your preferred taste. For two people we spent about $115 (17000 yen) with drinks, really not too bad, and we ordered more than other tables in terms of meat quantity. One note, while the menu is partially in English, it is def not a restaurant geared towards tourists and foreigners, I speak Japanese so we had no problem navigating the menu and communicating with the restaurant.
View on GoogleWe just enjoyed a wonderful dinner in this restaurant. Excellent quality of beef and steaks, nice chef and waitress. Good environment of rich Japan cuisine culture!
View on GoogleSmall spaced yakiniku place, where you grill over charcoal on your own. Additional rice is free during lunch hours. Good quality beef, soup came out hot, and I also liked the dressing on the salad. Reason for 4 stars is due to the sauce for the beef. Maybe just during lunch hours, but they only had soy sauce, and wasabi on side which I don't prefer. If lemon sauce or even just a simple yakiniku sauce would've been nice.
