Very nice place with pleasant atmosphere. I ordered the special burnt miso ramen which comes to you in a big black bowl with a dark brown soup and a layer of black, charcoal specks on top. The soup is actually quite smooth, with a deep, rich flavor that manages to not taste all that heavy. Unfortunately the slices of pork belly are a bit firm. The noodles - unlike Ippudo which is a hakata style - are thicker and have a nice chewiness. There’s also some cabbage, a small slice of fish cake, and one and a half poached egg. I also ordered bamboo shoots along with the ramen.

One of the greatest ramen places I've been to anywhere! The burnt miso ramen is incredible! It's nice and smoky in flavour. I wish we had this in Vancouver! The gyoza and salmon were really delicious as well!

Very nice shop with “burnt” soup ramen. They have soy sauce and miso base ramen, both burnt. The burnt element gives the ramen a Dark color and really interesting and delicious flavor. I tried the miso and the broth was smooth and flavorful. The pork is delicious and less fatty than ramen pork usually is, and the egg is cooked perfectly. This shop is classier than your typical ramen shop, but the prices are still reasonable. Check it out for sure

Burnt or charred ramen. Tasted really good. The broth was good and compliments the ramen really well, but I would not want to finish the broth by itself. This place felt like a fancy ramen place. Side dishes, such as gyoza, tofu steak, or sesame cucumber were not bad. A little bit pricier than normal.

Burnt miso ramen is delicious. Sweetness comes through the char of roasted vegetables that contribute to the savory stock. Thin noodles with a good bite and bits of cabbage that add a clear taste line through the saltiness. Well done - summer grilling in a bowl of soup. Tip the bowl up so the last dregs pour into your mouth.
