My recent visit to this Indian restaurant was a culinary journey that left a lasting impression. I opted for their Naan with Butter Chicken Curry, a classic Indian dish, and it was nothing short of a gastronomic masterpiece. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the tender chicken in the creamy tomato-based curry was a treat for the taste buds. What truly sets this restaurant apart from others I’ve been to is the unexpected addition of a half-boiled egg. It was a delightful surprise that added a unique twist to the meal. Towards the end of the dining experience, they also served a warm cup of tea, which was a comforting and soothing end to the meal. The service staff at this establishment were exceptional. They were not only attentive to our needs but also exuded warmth and friendliness, making us feel right at home. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to offer recommendations was greatly appreciated. While most of the dining experience was excellent, there was one minor disappointment. The Lassi, which is usually a creamy and indulgent yogurt-based drink, felt a bit too thin and watery for my liking. This was the only aspect of the meal that fell short of expectations. In summary, this Indian restaurant offers a unique twist on traditional Indian cuisine, making it a memorable dining experience. From the exceptional Naan with Butter Chicken Curry to the unexpected half-boiled egg and warm tea, there are plenty of highlights to savor. While the Lassi may not have met my expectations, the outstanding service staff made up for it. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delightful and distinctive Indian dining experience.
View on GoogleInitial impression is a high four stars, but it's extremely quiet on this rainy typhoon-fearing Saturday. Large 2nd-floor location with about 40 seats, and laid out for groups. It has Wi-Fi, but I didn't try it. I actually think it's a docomo/flets version that's given me trouble in the past. Very tender chicken in nice thick curry with the spiciness worthy of actual Indians from Kolkuta. Light naan with almost a sour taste covering the salad and half a hard-boiled egg. However, in the end I have to reduce it a middle 4 stars on two grounds (1) He gave me bad directions and I wound up walking all the way to Toranomon Station in the rain, and (2) I don't like street signs and they have a lot of them, including another I saw because of the bad directions.
View on GoogleOrdered the biryani and fish tikka.. worst experience.. 1. Chicken is not fresh in chicken biryani and it had foul smell. 2. Raita did not have any yogurt. Its like a mixture of onion and cucumber with water. 3. Fish tikka was OK but it was a ripped off for its price.
View on GoogleWaste of money and food is not at all good. I had Nan, keema and sag Panneer.
View on GoogleLow profile but worthy! Rare nan could be as natrual as ones from here, really. I'm a nan lover and if you are too I can tell you you could seldom taste nan with categories as much as this one has, although stuff here is not that good at maner but It's not a reason for not having a try
