This was Literally the very WORST Chinese food I’ve ever eaten anywhere in the world. Small portions that are very skimpy on the actual ingredient (shrimp, pork, etc). We ordered multiple dishes. Mapo Tofu (Bland, no meat at all, very light color means it lacks key ingredients like doubanjiang paste). Spicy Shrimp (Not spicy at all. Topped with crunchy, packaged Chun King noodle bits to hide the fact that there were only 8 small shrimp in there) Abalone in oyster sauce (Tasteless, with lots of sliced bamboo shoots to disguise as abalone). Sweet and sour pork (literally 5 pcs of pork) Fish fillet (looked like they just used the exact same sauce as the pork and came out exactly same time with soggy fish breading.) Sautéed vegetables with clams (the only thing that looked appetizing but turned out to be bland as well.) Fried spring rolls (the veggie filling inside was so chintzy the roll collapsed to a flat roll). Overall, everything was under seasoned (not even salt!!), overstarched and small.

View on GoogleI'd been here at night as roughly a second stop, but this was my first lunch visit. A neighborhood Chinese restaurant in a great location right in front of the Shimbashi bus stop. It has an atmosphere that's a little hard to walk into. The staff are foreign. Since my baby food was Chinese food, I sometimes crave Chinese food intensely. The Chinese restaurant in the basement has gentle flavors, while this one is more strongly seasoned. The side dishes are delicious, and so is the spicy mapo tofu included with the set. It seemed too spicy for my mother. The rice is firm, so it's good eaten with the mapo tofu on top. Apparently they use the same rice for fried rice, which is why it's firm. I'd prefer slightly softer rice at lunch. The reviews say all sorts of things, but I paid what I was told, so I wonder if the bill was right The draft beer was one-third foam, so I wanted to ask them to top it up a little lol If asked whether I'd never come again, I think I'd come again♪
View on GoogleI was drawn in by the photos outside, but apparently they don't offer set meals at night. I wish they'd made that clear. Still, the gyoza were incredibly delicious. I saw a few reviews suggesting service issues, but they thoughtfully told me I could put my belongings on the next seat, which made me very happy. The fried rice was delicious too. PayPay is accepted.
