Hiroya
Enjoy French cuisine made with seasonal Japanese ingredients at a natural wood counter. “Nippon Cuisine” draws on experience in Japanese, Italian, and Spanish cooking as well as French. Enjoy dishes unconstrained by conventional French cuisine, alongside local ingredients, Japanese sake, and wine. We suspended operations to launch a new restaurant, but will be reopening!!

We had a dinner for two at Hiroya - and it was a great experience - not only the freshly caught Yellowtail, the super fresh vegetables or the excellent prepared beef but also the fairly priced Burgundy Wines and the professional but still personal service by chef Fukushima. Most seats are at the counter - which i prefer in Japan anyway for 2 people. And its a cozy place. Definetely a Repeat !
View on GoogleNice cozy restaurant. Fresh ingredients, nice flavours. However for the price of 15,000 per person, we expected a little more - not in terms of quantity but overall presentation and execution. Nonetheless , an enjoyable experience. Private room in the back for parties of 6 is nice.
View on GoogleThis is the place you go to eat after you finish work at 1am and want to be satisfied with the quality and volume of the food. This is not a place you go just to eat fast and leave. Have a conversation with the chef and the other guests and enjoy your wine and dinner. One of my favorite restaurants.
View on GoogleLovely artisan restaurant with bar seating for 8-9 people, and a small private back room for 4-5 persons. The chef is trained in both Japanese and French fine cooking. We were a group of 8 work colleagues and sat at the bar for an early Friday night dinner and drinks. Champagne, white and red burgundy wines were selected. A seasonal menu of Japanese seafood, vegetarian and steak dishes followed. Sublime. Friendly and attentive service, and a charming cosy and elegant space. It’s a couple of blocks back from the main road and worth finding. David W, May 2024
View on GoogleOh, my, God!! I often walked passed the little road in front of this restaurant but I was not aware the attractivenesses of the place. This place is NOT French restaurant. It’s his dish made out of all the imaginations. And I just made our second visit. Another excellent food, wine and hospitality. This time, we took some photos.
