The service of Harbs is unacceptable particularly to Chinese. I entered the restaurant after waiting for a long queue. Then, the waitress only took the orders from other customers. Finally, we got served at 3:07pm after raising my hand for a long time. Then, we wait till around 3:45pm and the main dishes and dessert were not served. Meanwhile, we found that other customers, including those entering the restaurant later than us, got their dessert. I asked the waiter about the belated delivery. He can only reply by saying sorry. I finally got my dessert at 4:00pm. Firstly, the dessert are already stored at the fridge at entry location and more importantly, I do not understand why those customers order desserts and main dishes later than us can got their meal first. Perhaps, I am a Chinese. If it is the case, I am disappointed to the service of Harbs. It is the first time I brought my wife to Tokyo after COVID. Harbs is always her favourite but it changes in terms of service.
View on GoogleA classic cake shop and my go-to if I’m out of ideas of what to get for dessert. There’s always a line but this time we arrive closer past 6:30PM and got seated right away. Cannot go wrong with Mille Crepe cake or strawberry shortcake. This time we also tried the Strawberry mousse which was surprisingly very good too. Iced milk tea, ice cubes are made of milk so taste doesn’t get diluted. Make sure to read the signs on the cakes. Either they’re sold out or they’re waiting to replenish it. Would recommend this place or other locations if you want to eat cake and chat. Cannot go wrong.
View on GoogleNot worth the wait. Cake is above average though. Strawberry is not sweet. Service is pretty off as there are empty seats but just ask ppl to wait.
View on GoogleHarb Café is a curiously named tea and cake café in Tokyo Midtown (I believe they have other locations as well). I tried the iced apple Darjeeling tea and a banana cream cake which was delicious. My partner had the coconut flavored Darjeeling tea and the mango apple cake which he thoroughly enjoyed both. The atmosphere feels very upscale, and it is also worth noting that they serve pasta as well for those not craving something sweet. Definitely worth a try if you’re hankering for an afternoon tea and a cake (or just cake).
View on GoogleThe cakes are amazing and the drinks are not too bad. It is always busy but waiting time isn't too long. The shop is very clean and calm. Everyone looks like they needed a break from walking around a lot from this amazing mall. It is a place to relax and sip some tea. Staffs and service was great. I would definitely come back to this location to try their inhouse special cake that is only served at this location.
