It was our first night in Tokyo and we were craving some ramen. We went to Ichiran like silly tourists only to find a long queue outside. We didn’t feel like waiting so we stumbled upon this place and I’m so glad we did! It’s probably 5x better than that chain. Open seating with lots of locals and 2 bowls of ramen came out to around $12. Staff was kind and welcoming, and the broth was phenomenal. Highly recommend adding the garlic paste that they have on the counter. Try this place! You won’t regret it.
View on GoogleWe were so lucky to eat at this place! After countless minutes waiting to get inside a “famous/internet-rated” ramen shop, we gave up and found this gem! Simply one of the best ramen shops we've ever had. The staff were hilarious and respectful. The broths were both fantastic and top-notch! Our orders came out very quickly as well! We would recommend this place at any time of the week!
View on GoogleBest ramen I’ve ever had. For some reason there are some well known ramen chains that are always full of turists and you always have to queue for a long time. We did that big mistake. Don’t do that. After trying the big chain ramen we wanted to try a local one and ended up here, one of the best decisions of our trip. Service was great but food is even better. Also it’s super affordable, cheaper than famous ramen chains. I’m sure I will be back at this place if I ever return to Tokyo.
View on GoogleThe waitresses are friendly and efficient. As soon as the previous customers left, we were seated right away. The service was very fast—only a few minutes before the ramen was served. I ordered the Negi Chashu Ramen. The broth was rich and flavorful without being overly oily, and it paired really well with the crushed garlic and spicy pickled greens. That said, this place feels more like a “eat and go” spot, so it’s not recommended if you’re looking to sit around and chat after finishing your meal.
View on GoogleNot the Japanese experience you would expect. Ramen was ok. Nothing to scream about. This place does not seem to be Japanese operated as everyone was speaking in a different language.
