博多風龍 is a hugely popular ramen shop loved by local students and businesspeople. In its casual, welcoming interior, our signature tonkotsu ramen has none of the characteristic strong odor, offering a delicious, mellow broth that is creamy and sweet like milk. Our biggest selling points are 【2 free noodle refills】+【A wide variety of free tabletop toppings】. Our original spicy pickled mustard greens are particularly outstanding. Come experience the service you can only find here. We warmly look forward to welcoming you!

Stumbled by Hakata Furyu on our first night in Tokyo as it was nearby our hotel (several minutes walk from Mercure Hibuya). We ordered the signature ramen which was quite delicious. The broth was nice and rich and very flavourful (ordered from the screen at the entrance and then handed over the receipt to the counter). Was pleasantly surprised to see that the restaurant offered two free noodle refills also which was quite generous. Food was served up very quick and so were the refills. Pricing was very affordable especially considering the quality and the quantity of the dishes. This was definitely a hidden gem located in Hibuya city. Probably around 10ish odd seats so could be possible you may need to wait depending on what time you arrive. We didnt have to wait thankfully.

Garlic-oil spicy miso tonkotsu ramen is the pure comfort 🍜✨ Amazing flavors, great service, and the kind staff 😊 Ps. the chili flakes is not too spicy, tbh

We felt like tonkotsu ramen but not the usual suspects we go to (Ippudo or Ichiran). We noticed a Furyu in Shinbashi which isn't too far from where we lived and figured we could walk off a heavy lunch. Furyu is another well-known chain that specializes in Hakata style tonkotsu ramen. We were glad that we decided to make this trip as they served a really satisfying special black garlic oil tonkotsu ramen with egg and chashu (1,050 yen). The store itself is a short walk from Shinbashi station and easy to find. It's small... fitting maybe max 8 to 12 people at a time. You order via an electronic machine which has an English menu if needed. After handing your order ticket to the staff, they'll ask you how you want your noodles (barikata-very hard, kata-hard, futsu-medium, yawa-soft). They were very quick to get us our orders and very friendly. We liked our noodles hard and they nailed it. The soup and chashu (braised pork) were very savory but not as heavy as tonkotsu sometimes can be. Another great thing about this place is that you can get 2 free noodle refills (3rd refill onwards costs 100 yen each time). They have little cards you can place on the counter with how firm you want your noodle refill and all you have to say is "Kaedama" to get their attention. Honestly, "Sumimasen" plus the card on top of the counter is probably fine as well! Overall we really enjoyed our ramen and also a fan of the value. Would recommend trying this chain out for sure.
