This place is a bit confusing since the name of the restaurant is different (they are borrowing the place during lunch). Loved the thick hand cut udon and the meat broth had much more meat than expected. Finally, the fried vegetables were crunchy and wonderful. Felt a bit expensive for udon, but a pretty filling lunch option! Crowd Size: Unknown Payment Method: Cash Only

First time having Musashino udon. I ordered the nikujiru tsukemen (medium) for 780 yen and kakiage for 200 yen. For the tsukemen, both the broth and the noodles are warm. The noodles were chewy and the broth a bit salty, but it was tasty. The kakiage was stone cold and hard, and wouldn't break apart cleanly even with chopsticks. It's spacious with lots of seats, so you don't have to wait at lunchtime; personally I'd recommend it.

I went in without knowing anything, and personally the noodles were too thick, too hard and too long, so they were a bit of a struggle to eat, but I'm sure people who like this kind of noodle will love them. The portion is big, so you'll get full. There's a smoking area upstairs, so it's a high-scoring place for smokers. It was a bit hot inside.

A "double-cropping" setup where Musashino udon is served for lunch in the space of the izakaya "わん". You buy a meal ticket from a ticket machine; the regular size comes in 2 amounts but the price is the same. The noodles that arrived were as I imagined: wide, with plenty of chew, and as the notice says, you can really taste the saltiness. On top of that they're coated in a strong dipping broth, so as I kept eating I got thirsty and was gulping down water. I'd be happier if it were a bit lighter; I chewed the firm noodles thoroughly and ended up totally stuffed. Thank you for the meal.
