The restaurant offers a wonderful North Indian dining experience. The food was rich in flavor, especially the roti, masala kulcha, and paneer dishes, dosa items, which were cooked to perfection. The spices were well-balanced and authentic, giving a homely taste. Malai kofta is a must try. The ambiance was pleasant and comfortable, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family. The staff were courteous and attentive, ensuring a smooth dining experience. Overall, it is a great place for anyone who enjoys delicious North Indian cuisine. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend it. Everything is wonderful. From North Indian naan to South Indian dosa, you can enjoy delicious dishes from all across India. The food is outstanding, and the atmosphere of the restaurant and the courteous service of the staff are excellent. They also gave clear and thoughtful explanations about the dishes, as well as the origin of the restaurant’s name, “Ghungroo.” It’s about a five-minute walk from Omotesando Station, and its location tucked away on a side street off the main road adds to its premium feel.

I’ve tried a lot of Indian restaurants in Tokyo, and this one was just so-so. won’t be coming back. the place has a vintage, old-school vibe (not my favorite) Biryani was too oily for me, and butter chicken tasted more like cream and came in a really small portion, and the naan wasn’t good.

The most delicious dosa! You always get great service at Indian restaurants, but this one was significantly accommodating. Chicken keema dosa is the stuff of dreams. I would love to try everything on the menu, but I couldn’t ignore the dosa set. First world problems.. 🌚 Reasonably priced considering the area, but the interior design is somewhat outdated and unfitting. Such the ambience what a wee bit better it’d definitely be one of the best Indian joints in town.
