Grabbed a lunch on our way to Team Lab Borderless. The lunch set (beef with rice) is delightfully nice. The beef is al dente. Its thickness is just fit. Not too thin, not too thick. The sauce strikes a good balance between saltiness and sweetness. The rice is nicely cooked. The kimchi will be welcomed by those who would prefer less spicy. The miso soup is rich in taste. A cup of fruit tea is served when you finish your meal. The tea's calming scent and light flavour are a surprise, offering you a sense of peace after rushing through the meal. The place is clean and spacious. The ventilation is also good. We are not affected even though there are customers having BBQ next to us. After all, a nice restaurant which offers you a pleasant dinning experience.

Good appetizer, average sukiyaki (obviously worse than Imahan), really bad service. Bad service as super long delay after last dish. After our last dish, which is a hot tea, we wait more than 20 mins no one comes by. Until I found a nearby table who started later than us, received the check. Then I call the waiter and finally received my check, paid and left.

Unfortunately I didn't take photos when the meat arrived as I was excited to eat! Two locals we asked for dinner recommendations suggested Gazan for the Sukiyak; we decided on the 80000 yen BBQ set menu (we prefer BBQ). The waitress was lovely and helpful and switched between Japanese and English when we were struggling! The set menus did not have an English Menu. Wagyu was tender and fatty - SO GOOD! The salads and sides were crunchy and fresh. The end of the meal was a warm noodle soup, a miso soup AND a soba noodle soup. AND there was dessert! Sorbet and tea. It lacked atmosphere and was quite pricey but quality of food was great.

I had sukiyaki there. The overall experience is sort of disappointing. Menu is simple and easy to order. Sukiyaki is precooked. It is presented more like a chain food joint which u order through a ticket machine. Good quality is below average. Sukiyaki sauce does not enlighten beef and it is almost tasteless. If you read up till now, you know it is not worth a visit. I would recommend to anyone. There are plenty of sukiyaki specialty restaurants around Tokyo.

We had a disappointing experience during our recent visit. My wife and I had booked our reservation two months in advance, expecting a pleasant dining experience. Initially, we were seated in a private room, but were soon asked to move to the general seating area due to “their mistake”. This treatment contrasted sharply with a previous visit I made with my Japanese uncle, where we received notably better service. I would caution against visiting if you're not Japanese, as you might feel like a second-class citizen.
