A gallery centered on young contemporary artists whose work is based on the techniques of Nihonga (Japanese-style painting). They often set up shop in department stores and the like, so exhibitions at the gallery itself aren't necessarily frequent (sometimes there's a gap of more than a month), but the exhibitions they do hold are often strikingly vivid. The works, which arrange the flat decorativeness of Nihonga to fit modern life through pop color choices and selection of subjects, all make you think, “It'd be nice to have a piece like this hanging at home.
