I visited the shop right at opening and found no line. The space has a clean, minimalist aesthetic. I purchased the three-donut gift box for about JPY 1,300, which included the Freckle donut (sugar glaze with almonds), the Sencha (matcha glaze), and a custard cream donut. While this shop, Freckle Donuts, specializes in crullers, I found the texture of both the Freckle and Sencha donuts to be awkward. Instead of being fluffy, crunchy, or having a firm-yet-giving texture, they had a slightly mochi/chewy exterior and a mildly harder interior. The sweetness is distinctly geared toward the Japanese palate, meaning it is very restrained. The glaze's sweetness is largely offset by a dough that is either significantly less sweet or comes across as completely bland in comparison. Overall, the donuts were average at best.

Only one staff member was doing both bagging and checkout, so the line got really long. I ended up waiting about 20 minutes. I might buy something if it’s not crowded, but I’d probably skip it if there’s a long wait like that again.

It's gone in an instant lol It was a treat that felt light and breezy, just like early summer🌿 It's round and cute-looking too, I was drawn to it the moment I saw it lined up in the showcase...! It's inside T-MARKET at Toranomon Hills, so it's perfect while shopping or for a café break◎ It's seasonal, so if you're curious, definitely give it a try🍩✨

Went to "FRECKLE donuts" in Toranomon Hills. This one looked delicious too, so I couldn't help buying it. ・Salt Freckle ¥395 A French cruller with delicious, fluffy choux dough. It has a subtle saltiness that pairs perfectly with the sweet sugar. It made me want to try the other flavors too♪
