The yakitori was superb. Everything was grilled to perfection and absolutely delicious. I want to go again
View on GoogleAkasaka yakitori restaurant "Eiki" Invited by a foodie friend The liver was so rare it melted, rich yet with no off-flavor at all… I was moved by the grilling technique. Of course the yakitori is all delicious, that goes without saying Besides the yakitori, the à la carte dishes like butterbur sprouts coated in Saikyo miso and seasonal bamboo shoot tempura show outstanding taste too A place packed with deliciousness and care that goes beyond the bounds of a "yakitori restaurant". Recommended for nights when you want to quietly enjoy drinks and food The quail egg was soft-boiled too, a new texture I'll definitely go again It seems smoking is allowed inside.
View on GoogleFirst visit because lunch was 1000 yen. There were a karaage set meal and a chicken nanban set meal, and I chose the karaage. About 5 fairly large pieces of karaage. Thigh, breast, and wing, maybe? The soy-based marinade came through well. It's a bit firm, and given the size, people with small mouths should be careful. The soup was a green onion and ginger soup with chicken broth. Given the location, I suppose 1000 yen for this set is understandable. The pickles on the side were tasty, but overall it felt a bit lacking. The dinner menu seems to feature lots of yakitori from rare cuts, so next time I'd like to come at night.
View on GoogleCame for lunch. Waited quite a long time after ordering. The chicken nanban that came out was outstandingly delicious. Portion was plenty too. If they could shorten the time until it's served, it'd be perfect. Not recommended when you're short on time.
