Amazing food, great service, still a bit of a hidden gem. Very fair prices. A friend takes their cooking classes and absolutely loves them. And the owner-chef is simply the best.
View on GoogleThis is an Italian-style restaurant. Although it is on the BI level, the greenery and other scenery in the open courtyard are very distinctive. Looking out from inside, the emerald-green leaves move in the breeze and scatter reflected sunlight, full of mysterious vitality. The decor is simple, but the map of Italy at the entrance quietly suggests that this restaurant must have a story. Sure enough, the owner's wife lived in Italy for a time when she was young and was moved by the food there. After returning home, she opened this restaurant with her husband. The restaurant's ham is made from the hind legs of pigs from northern Italy. Because that area borders Hungary and Germany, some methods from both countries are incorporated into the processing, giving the ham a flavor unlike that of other regions! The ingredients are fresh and carefully chosen, the chef is highly skilled, and the combinations of foods create clearly layered flavors with a lingering finish. The bread deserves a recommendation: crisp and firm on the outside, soft, substantial, and springy inside, and wonderful dipped in olive oil. The service is also excellent. The chef carefully explains the origins of the ingredients and the cooking methods for each dish, really whetting diners' appetites. Fantastic!
View on GoogleEvery dish is carefully prepared; it is Italian food, but not overly rich, just nicely balanced. The uni bruschetta is superb, with its crisp texture and melting uni! The incredibly delicious homemade ham platter is outstanding too. The homemade bread served alongside the food is so good that you find yourself asking for more. There is 1 private room (up to 6 people), plus tables and a counter. The lighting is just right too. Easy access from the station and a lovely restaurant!
View on GoogleAn Italian restaurant in the basement of a building, less than a 5-minute walk from 外苑前駅 on the 銀座線. A large aged Parmigiano Reggiano was displayed in the center of the clean, wood-toned interior. We visited after reserving the dinner course in advance. The 4 of us used a private room seating 6~8 people. We were able to enjoy our meal and conversation at leisure. After 19:00, other guests began arriving, and before we knew it, the restaurant, including the counter, had a lively atmosphere. The ingredients used in the dishes are mainly agricultural produce and seafood from around 瀬戸内. You can fully savor food that reflects the owner-chef's love for his hometown and ingredients. Besides wines paired with the dishes, there is also a wide selection of nonalcoholic drinks to enjoy. From appetizers to dessert, this restaurant was wonderful in both appearance and taste.
View on GoogleAn authentic Italian restaurant in a quiet area about 5 minutes on foot from 外苑前🇮🇹 Since I do not drink alcohol at all, I am truly grateful for places like this with delicious food!! The food is simply delicious, and I especially love the appetizers and the focaccia eaten with olive oil. I do not think photos alone can convey it, so please try it at least once.
