I visited on a weekday evening. There were 5 groups, including us. It was fairly lively with quite a few people. We were very hungry, so we ordered several dishes, but none were particularly delicious. Maybe it was because the table smelled like a dirty cleaning rag. You could simply call it an ordinary, reasonably priced izakaya, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who cares about cleanliness. The draft beer is cheap. But I don't think I'll visit again.

They have a wide variety of delicious sardine dishes. I had sardine tataki, satsuma-age (homemade, but seemed frozen), and sardine nanbanzuke. The draft beer is surprisingly cheap at 290円! But the dishes might generally be a little pricey. They have chuhai, Japanese sake, and shochu, but it's been a while since I saw a place stocking Onikoroshi, haha. Still, they do have proper junmai sake, starting from 2 go. The lady running the place has a warm manner, and I feel like I might casually drop by again. There are counter seats, tables, and horigotatsu seating, with all kinds of customers: solo diners, couples, and groups of office workers.

A distinctly old-school place along Kotto-dori that champions sardines and beef tongue. The entrance is on 1F, and the kitchen and seating are on 2F. It's pronounced Denpachi. There are many den group restaurants around Omotesando Station, and this is one of them. I came here just once more than 10 years ago for an after-party, and this was my first visit since then. This time it was for a group banquet. We had large platters of their signature sardines and beef tongue, fried dishes, fried rice, and so on. Despite its prime location, it's an affordable, down-to-earth place, so I think it's appropriate. The draft beer is an incredible bargain at 290円 (served in pitchers for the banquet). Given its old-school character, most customers were middle-aged or older. Within walking distance of Omotesando Station, I think it's a good place for anyone wanting a relaxed drink in a Shimbashi-like setting. Various credit cards are accepted. Thank you for the meal.

2024.2 I visited for the first time at night. We decided to go here because it's an old-fashioned izakaya. I hardly ever eat in this area, but among all the generally expensive-looking places, they offer food at prices that aren't too high, which I thought was very good. There are lots of sardine dishes on the menu, so I thought this was a place I could especially recommend to fish lovers.
