I was introduced to this restaurant by a colleague. The restaurant serves lunch rice bowls as well as a sushi set. We ordered the Omakase set, and I specifically requested the ¥20,000 course meal. Unfortunately, the quality of the food did not meet my expectations for a ¥20,000 omakase, especially by Japanese standards. The sashimi cuts were paired with random shellfish, which felt mismatched and lacked cohesion. The sushi cuts were inconsistent, and overall the sushi was not particularly impressive. The grilled cod fish was served with bones, which further took away from the experience. One dish that stood out negatively was the fish liver, which was served in an excessively large portion. This would have been better presented in a smaller, more refined serving. To be fair, the food was not bad but at this price point, I expected something much more refined and memorable. For ¥20,000, there are many restaurants in Japan that deliver a significantly higher level of quality, technique, and balance. On a positive note, the chef and service staff were very courteous and patient. While they spoke limited Japanese, their hospitality and attitude were genuinely warm and professional. Overall, an acceptable meal, but not one that justifies the ¥20,000 price tag.
View on GoogleSo very good sushi here. The lunch bowl is pretty reasonably priced how ever their other meals are very overpriced for what you get. Starting with the standard to deluxe the difference is double but the portions are the same just different fish. For 4 different plates it was about 18000 yen. We did not order a deluxe one as I don't like sea urchin but we were billed for one.
View on GoogleI had one of the best sushi dinners ever at this wonderful family-run restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you can really feel the love and passion behind every detail. Rinka and her father are simply fantastic. So kind, friendly, and attentive! They made me feel completely at home. The whole team is incredibly nice. The sushi was so delicious and prepared with great care and respect for tradition. See you in London soon!!
View on Google🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶 The food is bad, and the prices are outrageous. You will definitely get ripped off. For an Edo-style sushi restaurant in Japan, this place is extremely unethical. There is a clear difference in service between regular customers and first-time visitors, to the point that I can’t help but feel even the regulars may have ill intent. While it’s true that customers can shape a restaurant, it even feels as though the regulars are helping turn this place into a deliberately overpriced and exploitative establishment. If you think the food here is fresh and delicious, please try other sushi restaurants at least once. Even budget conveyor-belt sushi chains offer far better value, quality, and overall satisfaction. Don’t be fooled.
View on GoogleVery traditonal sushi restaurat started over 40years ago. But renovated recently, so the inside is quite new. 2024.12.13 I visited with my old friend and I ordered Chirashi zushi(1,500JPY) again. I could say hello to Okami san 2021.03.01 I ordered Chirashi zushi(1,200JPY) again. I realized that it came with arajuru(fish mizo soup) which was good! *I felt the rice was a bit dry this time. Maybe was it just my imagination?? 2020.07.08 I ordered Chirashi zushi which is assorted with a lot of kinds of sashimi(row fish). I chose regular size(you can choose regular or big size), and it was good volume for me. 2020.03.01 Very traditonal sushi restaurat started over 40years ago. But renovated recently, so the inside is quite new. I visited at lunch time. Reasonably priced and good taste. English menu is available. <MEMO> bzc
