Visited for lunch and dinner on different days. A long-established neighborhood Chinese restaurant opened in the first year of Heisei. I arrived before 12:00 for lunch, and it was full + 5 people waiting. People kept coming in afterward too. After about 10 minutes, I was seated, and at that very moment the miso vegetable ramen I'd ordered arrived. The noodles are old-fashioned Chinese noodles, with plenty of finely chopped vegetables, and the balance between the miso soup and the vegetables' sweetness is exquisite. An addictive flavor… it makes you want to eat it again immediately. A small rice is free, but I passed. The proprietress was energetic and pleasant. The fried rice the person next to me was eating at lunch looked so delicious that I returned another evening. At night, the owner was working alone rather than the proprietress. I ordered ginger pork on its own and fried rice. The moist-style fried rice was fantastic. A place that makes you want to become a regular.

Founded in 1989, the owner makes cleanliness his motto, and apparently has won an award for creative Italian cuisine. He was reportedly featured in Aera Style Magazine in a piece about Masahiko Kondo, known as Matchy, and neighborhood Chinese restaurants. I ordered mapo tofu, but they'd run out of tofu, so I ordered my second choice, fried rice for 980円. There was an article from some fried-rice feature inside, so expectations were promising🎶 Plenty of egg, with a texture midway between moist and separate-grained, and it was delicious😋😋2026.1.27

I had bottled beer, gyoza, miso ramen, chashu, and fried rice. The menu said gyoza was only available at night, so I couldn't resist ordering it. Rounded and thick, they were easy to eat with a pronounced garlic-chive flavor. Perfect with beer. The miso ramen had the sweetness of vegetables and richness of miso, making it satisfying. Perhaps the chashu was heated in a wok before serving; its roasted aroma whetted my appetite. The fried rice was simply delicious. It contained chopped roast pork and fluffy egg, with gentle seasoning that still packed a punch. Your spoon definitely won't stop. My friend and I ate so enthusiastically that we went over 4000円, but I think one person could enjoy it for around 1000円〜1500円 even with alcohol.

【Shimbashi】 A Chinese restaurant halfway between Shimbashi Station and Toranomon. I entered right when it opened at 17:30. The cluttered feel was just as it looked from outside. First, unwinding with beer and gyoza. The gyoza were packed with filling, and the wrappers were just to my liking too. I finished with miso vegetable ramen, and was satisfied: these are exactly the noodles and soup you want when you think miso ramen.
