I tried the mapo tofu, it was not bad but personally too much garlic. Other than that the prices are affordable and the food authentic.

Surprisingly authentic Chinese food hiding in plain sight. Super reasonable.

A typical mainland Chinese restaurant, with Chinese being spoken all around. Lunch is a thousand yen with fairly large portions, and smoking is allowed too. The only cheap places around here are pretty much Nakau and Machida Shoten, so I think it's suitable for people in work clothes to have lunch. By the way, a large serving of rice is free. I ordered rebanira. Contrary to my expectations, it had lots of liver. The regular rice portion was generous too, which was nice.

Judging only by the reviews, I thought it might not be very good. But after ordering, I really liked the order in which the food came out and how the meal was arranged. They also kept bringing small plates for the number of people without being asked, which was nice. The food especially suits Korean tastes perfectly. The tantanmen seems slightly salty at first, but as you eat it, it feels just right. Definitely try the stir-fried tomato and egg. There's no flavor like it. The Chinese-style jajangmyeon is good too, with its thin somyeon noodle base. The gochujapchae is at the level you'd get at a fairly good restaurant. The crab fried rice gets the basics right too. Honestly, we came in because no other places were open late at night, but I'd like to come again on my next business trip. Oh right, once you start eating, you stop caring about the atmosphere. Haha.

My first visit for lunch. The result: I won't be back. All lunch menu items are 800円, with a free large portion. There doesn't seem to be an unlimited rice or soup refill system. I ordered the hoikoro set. The serving time was typical. As it was brought from the kitchen, I could smell the garlic even from 2 meters away. Very intense. Every flavor was overpowered by the garlic aroma. When it's this strong, even a garlic lover like me starts thinking about work in the afternoon. At 12:20 on a weekday, about 3 tenths of the seats were occupied. Considering this isn't an area with enough dining options to choose a different place every day, that might be the answer regarding the other menu items too. All bento are 500円. Those seem popular.
