Not expensive but the tad of food was 👍 good 😊 We ordered lunch special respectively and Chinese dumplings called gyoza. Also we drank some bottles of beer 🍺 I visited there with my old friends before the popular collegiate rugby match on Sunday, December 4 2022! Atmosphere and the manners of servers were also good & kind.

I came in at 21:15 and ordered in a rush, happy that a Chinese restaurant was still open at that time around the area. I was considering taking my time to eat a bit more since I was really hungry that night, but I was told it was last order at 21:30, shortly after my food arrived so I just ate in a rush thinking the restaurant would close soon. A group then came in at 21:45 and could order food no problem, and other clients kept on ordering. What was the last order warning for? I was hungry so any food would have tasted good I suppose, but I definitely won't be coming back.

The food is a little salty. But never mind, the most important thing is the attitude of the waitress is so poor! I won’t go next time!

Right beside the pedestrian bridge along 青山通り, on the 2nd floor of a building, the restaurant is fairly spacious and bright with many tables. The lunch menu has a dozen or so choices, mainly noodles, and the noodle sets come with a half portion of fried rice or a mapo tofu rice bowl, making them feel like great value. The special Sichuan-style tantanmen+half fried rice set arrived about 5 minutes after ordering, so it was very quick. The fried rice was about the size of a large rice bowl and seemed microwave-heated, but it was piping hot. Perhaps intended as rice to accompany ramen, it was very lightly seasoned, but the portion was sufficient. The medium-thin straight noodles matched the tantanmen broth nicely, but the flavor was standard, for better or worse. The seating is spaciously arranged, and the distinctive Japanese spoken by the older lady, who seems Chinese, has its own charm. Service was good, so I think this is a good place for those seeking value and an unhurried meal. There are various noodle options, so I would like to try others too.

Visited for lunch on a weekday. A Chinese restaurant on the 2nd floor of a building along the main road leading to the ginkgo-lined avenue, near 外苑前駅. This time I ordered the mala-flavored yodare-dori set meal (950円). The yodare-dori packed onto the plate was a bigger portion than expected★ Each piece was cut thick, moist, and tender^^ As you would expect from its bright red appearance, it was quite spicy, but incredibly delicious with rice, and I ended up getting another helping.
