A valuable option amid all the rich animal-based ramen broths around these days. 麻辣刀削麺 980円: despite being described as mala with Sichuan pepper, both the heat and the pepper's numbing sensation are restrained. You can adjust it with the condiments on the table, though. The soup is very middle-of-the-road, neither rich nor thin, but a slight tang combines with the freshness of the cilantro topping for an exquisite, delicious balance. Above all, the 刀削麺 are extremely thick and chewy. It almost feels like eating dumplings, but the soup clings well to the surface and tastes great. The evening all-you-can-eat-and-drink option is also inexpensive for the Toranomon area at 4000円. With food of this quality, it might be worth coming even without choosing all-you-can-eat.

【Superb irregularly cut, extra-thick 刀削麺】 It's been ages since I found such a good 刀削麺. I visited after 14:00, and there was only 1 other group already there. I ordered 刀削麺 topped with tender spare ribs（980円）. It arrived after a little over 10 minutes. I was delighted by the casually irregular cuts of the 刀削麺. The flavor was very much to my liking too. I would have liked a little more edible meat on the spare ribs, but they were fall-apart tender and delicious. I didn't order any other Chinese dishes, so I can't comment on their taste, but the 刀削麺 was outstanding. Do stop by if you'd like.
