This Sichuan restaurant is popular for their fried noodles, but had to try the mapo tofu first. The mapo tofu was on the soupier/oilier side and didn't quite have the numbness of a Sichuan "true" style, but definitely on the spicier side. Ended up ordering an extra bowl of rice (free refills) and could have easily gone for a third! With so many lunch options, no wonder this place is popular! Crowd Size: High Payment Method: PayPay

View on GoogleI stopped by at night wanting Chinese congee, but there was no congee listed on the main menu! When I asked, they said they could serve it, so I had some. ◆Seafood Chinese congee and homemade meat bun set(1,000円) Chinese congee with an incredibly flavorful stock, generously packed with large shrimp, squid, and scallop meat♡ The flavor was quite strong, making it really satisfying. I was happy that the set included a large meat bun. Its densely packed filling was juicy and delicious too, making me happy. Thank you for the meal!
View on GoogleI love the lunches and bento here. I often buy their bento, but the ones outside are samples of the weekly menu; you actually order inside and get one freshly made. Compared with other Chinese food, the seasoning is refined, not heavy, and delicious. Recently I had digestive trouble and felt unwell. While recovering, I came for the 「海鮮お粥&自家製肉まん」 lunch, and it was truly delicious; I could feel the nourishment spreading through my body. At lunchtime it gets busy with people from nearby offices, but turnover is quick. If you go after 13:00, it is fairly calm, so I think you can enjoy a leisurely meal. It is easy for a woman to visit alone too. The other dishes look delicious as well, so I would like to try various things.
View on GoogleVisited for lunch. The entrance is a little down some steps from street level and not very wide, but the interior is quite spacious. The tables are cleverly divided with partitions, and I appreciated the consideration for solo diners. Despite the number of customers, service was remarkably quick, and the gentle flavors paired well with the simple ingredients. The staff were brisk and polite. I enjoyed the meal comfortably, but there is an ashtray on the outside stairs, so smokers gather there and you have to pass through a cloud of smoke. I wish they would do something about that. Thank you for the meal.
