Came for dinner on a Wednesday night around 6pm and place was empty till we left. The chef was smoking in the restaurant which wasn't great. Ordered the sweet and sour pork set 880 yen and a few other dishes, all were ok. Nothing special not great either. Looking for nothing special, cheap and quick then here is ok.
View on GoogleVisited for lunch on a day off because I had something to do nearby. The staff's Japanese is at the level of just getting by, so don't expect much in terms of service quality. They put down the menu and food as if throwing them, silently took away the condiments in front of me and sat in an empty seat to refill them, relaxed looking at their phone, and argued with someone in the kitchen in their own language. The malatang noodles were curly and mildly spicy. The fried rice was unremarkable and tasted like it had a lot of artificial seasoning. It was moist rather than fluffy with separate grains. At checkout, I was told that bookings through a restaurant website could only be paid for in cash, so that might be something to watch out for. I won't be coming back.
View on GoogleLately I've been visiting this Chinese restaurant often for lunch, and I think the food is delicious. Some reviews say the fried rice and other dishes are lightly seasoned, but I think this level of seasoning is plenty. Some people have a poor sense of taste, while others have a sensitive palate. So I think overly strong seasoning that caters only to people with a dull sense of taste is unhealthy. Smokers in particular don't have a normal sense of taste, so they tend to want strong seasoning. As for sweet-and-sour pork, this restaurant offers 2 kinds. “Sweet-and-sour pork made with black vinegar” and “regular ketchup-based sweet-and-sour pork.” It's a matter of preference, so you can't say which is tastier or better value. When I asked the staff about the difference between the 2, they said the black-vinegar version has a little more pork. They also said the black-vinegar version “isn't available as a set meal.
View on GoogleVisited at lunchtime. You can enjoy home-style Chinese cooking at reasonable prices. I ordered the mapo eggplant set meal and extra gyoza. The mapo eggplant wasn't too spicy and had a subtle Sichuan pepper aroma. It was delicious. The gyoza were juicy and delicious too. It was convenient to be able to use PayPay as well as cash, and lunch being served until 15:00 was helpful. The noodles look good too, so I'd like to return.
View on GoogleStopped in for a late lunch. Chose the seafood yakisoba! The noodles seemed a bit oily, but the shrimp were plump and there were lots of vegetables, so the toppings were delicious◎ Considering the price, it was average.
